  • I'm not the first to say it, and I won't be the last - that there is Darth Malak.

  • 0:12 is it just more or how the hell is pacbaby floating?

  • This was my favorite video game cartoon.

  • WBShop.com for one day only today is showing "The Abominable Pac-Man/The Bionic PacWoman" for free without any commercial breaks in honor of the Warner Archive DVD release of the first season of Pacman, the only animated TV show devoted to him. I also remember the Christmas episode. Hanna Barbera also animated him for the PacMan cereal commercials. This fall marks 30 years since Pacman made his worldwide debut on TV.

  • @kascnef i got that today too

  • As bad as these cartoons were....I miss them!

  • What the fuck is this shit? Someone actually thought it was a good idea to make a cartoon based off a video game that literally has no story or plot?

  • HOLY JEZUS DARTH MALAK

  • theres only 4 ghosts in the game whats the fifth one's name?

  • @deathbyplutonium Inky Blinky pinky clyde and Sue. Sue is from Ms pac man

  • @biguy617 wasn't sue just clyde? i thought sue became her own ghost in pac-mania or even pac-land on witch this show was based on

  • They don't make shows like they used to, and that's a good thing

  • @LukeKarang so what your saying what's on tv now is better? aren't you a retarded fuck go watch you fucking gay ass shiws about pony's you fuck i am gonna go watch real cartoons like thundercats he-man and G1 transformers

  • i used to watch this all the time as a kid :)

  • it's anakin on his free time..

  • I just heard about this show today, when I saw the christmas special, and I already have a favorite character. ^__^

  • I only remember seeing the Pac-Man Christmas Special in 1998. But I thought that was actually pretty awesome at the time!

  • lmao wtf

  • pacman had a CARTOON??

  • @Fireproofretz

Pac-man had his own cereal...and that shit was good as hell pac dots with ghost marshmellows

  • Ms. Pacman Owned Pacman :D

  • @djcinema10 that's cause he was pussy whipped.

Qbert even hit it and the pac-man won't even say or do anytrhing about it either.

    lame-o..

  • Ms. Pac Man was hotter in the game.

  • GO FUCK POPCILCES U LITTLE BICH BECAUSE WHAT IS YOUR PROBLM > kid~ voice DID u SPELL Q?!?!?!?!?!!

  • Lo siguen dando pero ahora en otros canales

    It continues

  • One of the worst cartoons from a decade that had more shitty cartoons than any other decade. Anyone who thinks otherwise either A) Didn't actually watch it when it first aired. B) Was 6 or under when they watched it. C) Is so blinded by nostalgia for their early 80s childhood that ANYTHING from this era is just automatically considered awesome.

  • @deyoungparker Yeah sure. I watch it. This cartoon was shown during the Marcos era. Maybe your not from the Philippines. Not to pick a fight. Maybe your right, but cant you be more positive to appreciate this?

  • @deyoungparker

so what did you watch? Power Rangers, Pokemon?

  • @Trance1972 I watched all the stuff I'm ripping on. I think I got up at like 6 in the morning when this show premiered I was so fired up. And like all the other shows, just a total cheesy bummer.

  • @deyoungparker What is it that you want? A Medal of Honor coming from the US Congress. Well, were you born in 1951 and made this cartoons. What is wrong with people right now is they criticize a lot thinking that they are perfect. Well, we are not perfect. What do you expect? A HD pac-man cartoons with good story. Please!!!

  • @deyoungparker what is the best decade then?

  • this is from the Silver Age of cartoons the 1980s.

  • DF?!

  • wow..... THERE WAS A CARTOON FOR EVERYTHING!

  • @giygas007 Hey it was the 80s. Reagan for better or worse, de-regged TV so anything was up for grabs.

  • It took me almost 30 years to realize this... I always knew that Marty Ingles was the voice of Pac-Man - who also did the voice of Beegle Beagle in Grape Ape. But after listening to the opening, I just realized that Bob Holt, the voice of Grape Ape, is the one who says "Pac-Man" in the opening sequence.

  • x_x

  • I don't remember if they based this off the pac-adventure game or the other way around, but it was a jolly good show

  • only thing i remember is that his wife's name was pepper. i think i still have the pac man board game somewhere. does anyone remember those mini arcade games from the reagan era? about the size of a box of instant oatmeal? i remeber those and those stupid clothes that changed with your body temperature. i think it was around 85-86. ah, memories.

  • I remember this. It was on' Rat on the Road' with Roland Rat. I think the other cartoon on it was super Chicken. Such a long time ago!

  • @MOONST0MP Wasn't that on the TV-am slots?

  • Show had an underrated soundtrack.

  • waka waka waka :D

  • this was probably the trippyest show ever...

  • Pacman had a tv show awesome

  • oh damn i remember this show as a kid from 1982.priceless memories.

  • I'd say it seems unoriginal... Like that shitty-ass Bubsy cartoon, but because of it's age and creative way to put Pac-Man in an actual setting rather than a black box with blue to orange lines... along with it's old age, It's decent for its time.

    7/10 Pretty Good Show.

  • holy shit !

  • Pac-Man was created by Namco and manufactured by Bally Midway but it was ported to a portable gaming system in 2004 by Nintendo as a part of the Classic NES (short for Nintendo Entertainment System) Series. Happy Birthday, Pac-Man.

  • what what WHAAT??

  • Pac-Power 9.1k times > than Puppy Power.

  • THERE WAS A PAC-MAN CARTOON!?

  • @DarthBarkerSithLord yup! I miss it! :(

  • @DarthBarkerSithLord Yes there was. Man the 80's were great!!!

  • @Oneida2Fairfax Well, I'm a 91 guy. I still think music from 70's and 80's are better than today's music.

  • @DarthBarkerSithLord youd be suprised i grew up in that era they had a cartoon for everything even tv sitcoms had cartoon spinoffs. laverne and shirly mork and mindy happy days dukes of hazard .what were those tv execs smoking?

  • This cartoon was awkward. Like...they're taking these pelets and gain power. It's like taking steroids or something. That explains why they're so round.

  • I remember when I was just a little kid and I thought everything was entertaining, and even I thought this was pure dog shit.

  • Cartoons were made out of everything back then. Good thing times are different now. Can you imagine a minecraft cartoon?

  • @moonbeast32

Is minecraft another type of video game?

  • @Smartboy8877 only the most popular pc game internationaly

  • @moonbeast32

I guess that the fact that I have never heard of it is because I very seldom play video games. In any event, thank you for the information!

  • Hey Kiddies, this cartoons sux!

  • What is Darth Vader doing in a Pac Man Cartoon? And where is his mask?

  • @BeingOStupid Thats Darth Malak to you

  • Yes, great memories

  • Comment removed

  • Say, I just noticed a number of Pacman shows such as the episode 'Pacula' not on YouTube. Don't tell me they were deleted due to copy right issues.

  • i remember this! it was great i always liked pac man!

  • i remember watching this

  • Damn i miss that show.

  • @TheDJWolverine i had no freaking clue that a show like this even existed...

  • When they came out with mr PAC man the game. Ppl would hack the motherboard so it was mrs PAC man and more popluar an would make more money

  • ok..wtf

  • Pac Man was such a popular arcade game back then. Hanna - Barbara thought to make a animated series of it. It came it on ABC in a random format i I believe was in 82-83. But ABC didn't air too many Pac-Man cartoons.

  • Comment removed

  • This cartoon series was produced by Hanna-Barbera.

  • @MetroidHunter50 1982-85.

  • @Try1ThaB3ar Marty Ingles was the voice of Pac-Man for this cartoon series-the same person who did the voice of Beagle Beagle in the GREAT GRAPE APE SHOW in the mid to late 1970s.

  • Pac-Man's wife was called Pepper. I'm assuming that she was the Ms. Pac-Man video game.

  • PAC-MAN was a tv show!?!

  • Whoa!....creepy!

  • this is an acid trip.

  • DARTH EGGHEAD!!!

  • lol the "PAC MAN" shouts are terrifying

  • @chosen194 you, shut up.

  • Ppl stoped caring these days about cool tv shows to much GREED back then ppl cared not no more

  • Typical Saturday....spending fours hours in the morning watching cartoons like this and scarfing down a few bowls of sugary cereal. Friends start calling or coming over aroung 11 and we'd spend the rest of the day terrorizing the neighborhood on our bikes. The 80's were a good time to be a kid.

  • @volumecorps Yeah... Those days. The 80's and 90's were awesome, but now the world is like hell these days.

  • @volumecorps Being a child of the 70's they wer even a better time to be a kid.

  • I so love this cartoon compared to the video game, which I love so much. I think that the video game came in first in 1980. They should make a movie of this.

  • who's the 5th ghost?

  • @feltbag Claude!

  • @feltbag Sue from Ms. Pac-Man

  • im only 11 but still i somewhat remember watching this....

  • Oh Fuck the villian is on par with every other 80's show. the 80's man, those where the days

  • 0:06 (in dark voice)PAC MAN

  • when i was in first grade... it was about 04... i used to watch the SHIT out of this! i would be PISSED when i missed an episode!

  • Nobody remembers this cartoon but me when i mention it to people i talk to at work

  • @Blinkcub Hey, i still remember this cartoon.

  • What the puck?

  • @Wilford870 hey dude its not puck its fuck lol

  • @petisojavier in japan pac-man is called- puckman, they changed it for obvies reasons

  • Wow.... Am I the only one with the 2 disc dvd set to this show?

  • Keep in mind that this IS 80's.

  • a pac man CARTOON? so we have a cartoon here about a yellow dot that eats other dots and ghosts in a blue and black maze? god what has this world come to.

  • @retardedmario1 This was the early 80's. As if you could do something to make this better.

  • so? just because it was the 80's doesnt mean they couldnt have been a bit more original.

  • @retardedmario1 Technology back then was not advanced, that's why i think it was made this way, or maybe they were just too lazy developing a script for every episode.

  • @Sweetmervs Hanna and Barbera were also running out of ideas.

  • @barnaclebones No but I know of the character and the storyline.

  • Nothing like Saturday morning cartoon's in the 80's. I loved these times.

  • 0:08 That's-A-Me... Pacman!

  • Since when are there FIVE ghosts?

  • @MrSmartypants99 The fifth ghost was Sue, the female ghost from the Ms. Pac Man arcade game.

  • ok.. i went from mr bucket to 90's m&m comerical and now this LOL damn times where good back then

  • I MUST GET THOSE POWER PALLETS TOO!

  • so thats what those things are?

  • To think, this was part of the greatest section of shows to air; shows based off of video games! This one, The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic X, Kirby Right back at Ya!, Adventures of Super Mario Bros 3! It was all epic in my book; just let me know if I missed any.

  • The pacman series shouldn't have a backstory.

  • 0:14 holy crap! the ghost leader actually looks bad ass! makes me almost want to watch this show

  • What in the world? I still give thumbs up

  • I remember watching this on Cartoon Network when I was younger.

  • Still hoping someone releases this on DVD. LOVED this cartoon.

  • Just like every other comment, "There was a show?"

  • this deserves 1 million views!!!!

  • They also did rubik cube, Q-bert, and Donky Kong.

  • @binkyt11 How could they make a cartoon about Rubic's cube?lol XD

  • @flamesdemon19 You dont wanna know...

  • @King0Drac Ok.I think I want my brain cells for a few more days so I won't search it.lolol

  • WTF! I never knew pac-man was a cartoon?

  • There was a cartoon?

  • Wopwopwop

  • /watch?v=_uFz1ASPD1o

  • Am I the only one who thinks the song sounds like the ice cream truck song?

  • was this real!?

  • Why dont they stay out of there costumes and get them while they cant see them? Idiots.

  • xq no vuelve a dar???

  • love those demonic voices in the background saying "pac-man"

  • To be half a spoilsport is to mention the Ghostbusters.

  • Since when did Darth Malak lead the ghosts? This is such a strange show. xD

  • Comment removed

  • @Yabuturtle The character's name was Mesmoron. He was a Darth Vader rip-off.

  • @Yabuturtle The villains name is Mezmaron, a mysterious figure who resembles Darth Vader and acts similarly to Gargamel from The Smurfs. Mezmaron's sole mission is to locate and control the source of "Power Pellets", which serve as the primary food and power source for the city, and also as the deus ex machina in virtually every episode.

  • There was a pacman show? Wow, i probly wouldve liked it if i saw it as a kid, these game shows were cool

  • @The0ptimus

it used to be on boomerang a few years ago. :/

  • @The0ptimus Back in the 80's they made a cartoon out of just about everything. The rubiks cube even had a cartoon!

  • It wasn't Saturday Supercade because Pac-Man aired on ABC. Supercade aired on CBS. I remember Pac -Man as initially having his own show and then being packaged in the ridiculous "Little Rascals-Richie Rich-Monchichi" block.

  • 0:11 GAGA ??

So Pac-man just eat the ghosts's cloth, which make the box in the middle of the screen a closet. Ghosts wear colourful cloth come out of the closet to be eaten by Pac-man. Pac-man is therefore a gay bashing game.

  • Saturday supercaide fun...I think.

  • Yes there really was a show back in the 80s...It was part of this power house type show...had different video games of the time.

  • THIS WAS A SHOW?!?!?
