God, how i miss vanilla. Crappiest, buggiest game version, yet still best in my opinion. Had the best time while playing it. Every now and then i get emo cause of it. Neither expansion had the same/similar feeling. Tarren mill vs south shore... AV's that lasted for days... STV ganking bonanza... every 5 man while lowbie was an advanture (the trip from the major city to the instance itself). UBRS, LBRS, attunements, making flasks in scholo... Good times... good times.

@wowi132 Yeah, they could have just left the game the exact same for six years, never doing anything with it, and we'd have grown tired of the never-changing story, characters, abilities, etc, and WoW would have been just another forgotten footnote in the pages of video game history.

Why are people complaining about old times going away? You have the option of raising a lvl 60 alt and then going to the experience eliminator (the stealthed guys in the rooms that used to have the battleground ppl in Stormwind and Orgrimmar) and then going off to raid some vanilla content...

@Eguva that would not be the old times... at all, the class abilities and talents are even drastically different now let alone the stat and class mechanics. Gear that was then unavailable? No weapon / defense skill anymore? Hunters with focus? Mages with Arcane Barrage? Druids with Eclipse? Priests with Penance and Atonement? Warriors with Devastate? DKs? Timewarp and Heroism? Horde Paladins? Rogues with Shadowstep?

nowadays, MC goes by so fast because there is better gear and higher lvls, they didnt kill it, they just moved to dif raids that took the place of these

when the new expansion comes out, im pretty sure they will bring these raids back, like heroics or something

You know, as much as I DID like the raiding content in pre TBC, they did improve plenty of things in the new expansions. In pre TBC you actually had to gear around resistance for most boss fights which fucked up DPS most of the time. Which made me sad. Honestly, to those who were saying pre TBC was the best - now most of the time, "BC WAS THE BEST", it's as the saying goes "The grass is always greener on the other side." You can never please people because they always want what they can't have.
