This man doesn't know the first thing about building a larger economy. However he does know a thing or to about how to demean minorities in to thinking they cannot achieve anything without the nanny-state's help.
Let's see...he hates Wal-Mart. That's fine, he definitely has that right. The bottom line is Wal-Mart has done more for the poor and minorities than any government program could ever dream of doing. You have a willing seller and a willing buyer. Getting in the way of this destroys freedom and destroys economic liberty. Wal-Mart exists to provide goods at a lower price than its competitors.
Look at the industrial production numbers since at least World War II. You'll find that the U.S. has increased its' industrial production and has basically kept pace with GDP. This is mostly due to mechanization of jobs that used to be performed by humans. See it wasn't only free trade that has caused U.S. manufacturing jobs to plummet.
Per Wikipedia and AmericanThinker, this man spoke against the company at that Wake Up Wal-Mart meeting, whining about how Wal-Mart doesn't have unions.
Unions were one of the major reasons why U.S. jobs have gone overseas, along with corporate tax rates.
The unions have priced themselves out of the wage market. This is why I like free market capitalism. Those who wish to purchase things made in the US at a higher price can do so, while those who don't care where items are made can purchase them at a lower cost. Those who wish to work for a certain wage can do so, and those who wish to work for a higher wage can hold out, its all about choice.
I've never heard him say he hates wal-mart. But so what if he does? Wal-mart is the devil anyway. Lol. I shop there probably once a year. And how exactly has wal-mart helped the poor of America? By paying them so poorly that all they can afford is wal-mart? Yeah...
Many people keep forgetting that people CHOOSE to shop at Wal-Mart. They don't have to. On the Wal-Mart workers: they CHOOSE to work there, they are not forced to. If Hussein Obama doesn't like it, then Hussein Obama shouldn't shop there or work there, but he shouldn't try and take that chance away from anyone else who would like to do so.
I would vote for a black no prob...like JC Watts or Condi - someone with some frickin common sense!
The problem with Barack HUSSEIN Obama isn't that he's black, it's that he's a rich elitist libbie socialist that wants to take from hard-workin middle class and give to the lazy with big social programs (that's just this side of communism).
cdc9...I just want to see how my enemies and the leftists go gaga over a nobody with no experience. I was hoping to see some good banter from my side as there's NOTHING BETTER than seeing a libbie come un-hinged - over anything!
Senator Obama has more political donations by citizens then ANY other democratic candidate and the second largest raised sum. He ranks high in the polls and has been a keynote speaker.
He has some experience, and he is not really a total nobody.
For those who watch this and attack Obama: Me thinks thou doth protest too much. If Obama didn't have great promise as a leader, you'd be watching videos of Republicans.
america is ready for a black president, they just won't vote for this guy because he's pretty much all hype, he's got the potential to be a great leader, but who knows, maybe when he has more experience, and if he runs for prez in say 2020, scarey thought aint it? i'll be mutha fukn 38 by then, middle fukn aged, spooky.
You can just see the shit spraying out of this guy's mouth. If you vote for him in 08' and expect some sort of change, you're high on drugs. Vote for Ron Paul in 08' if you want a truly principled individual as your president. Ron Paul in the lone voice of freedom in congress today, his voting record proves it that's why he's known as doctor no.
at first i was all for obama, but aside from having great catch phrases that you can put on the side of a coffee mug, what plans for the future does he actually have? Aside from pulling troops out of iraq, which wasn't a hard plan to come up with.
I am voteing for Obama! We the people have the congress and I am hoping for a "Hat Trick" in 2008! Then "We the people," will have the senate and the presidency and the congress! (smile) The man's color doesn't matter to me, it is his humanity and honesty that gets my vote!

He never said he hates Walmart. Why do you feel the need to just make stuff up?

This man spoke at that stupid Wake Up Wal-Mart campaign. How can one say he likes Wal-Mart if he does this?
huskiefan06 4 years ago
Calling for increased port security to make America safer does not mean he hates Walmart.
deepbluehawaii 4 years ago
When they first became successful Walmart was committed to protecting America's jobs. Made in the USA was a point of pride in their marketing. Now?
I guess it's ok to support communist China if you can get your underwear cheaper. Too bad about all those American jobs.
That's what I think, not what Obama thinks. Show me the link to any speech he made that says he hates Walmart. Till then my confused friend...
