@PH03N1XM4N No. Same actor (Emil Minty who played The Feral Kid in TRW) different character. Same with his dad, Jedidiah The Pilot (Bruce Spence who played the Gyro Captain in TRW).

Ok, you people suck. The first one makes no sense whatsoever. There's hardly any back story, etc. The 3rd is rich with music and cinematography. I can't help but think the characters in the 3rd one are much deeper. For me, it takes until the 3rd to really get a better sense of what's happened to the world. Perhaps it's just that so much more time has passed since the war but regardless, it's more personal. It's more "American" prolly because the budget was higher by the 3rd.
@BreezesofConey I completely agree. Some people don;t understand that you can't catch lighning in a bottle all the time. The first two movies were action packed and this was more story telling. True fans who love the character and series would accept it and be willing to know more about the history and consequences. Those tyoes of fans are not completely loyal to these films. .
i didnt find this one too bad. of course the first two were amazing but i thought that this was pretty good, the only thing i didnt like is that it doesnt feel australian any more in this movie.
I like this movie, but can't help to realize they left half the other children in the Oasis when they escaped. I wonder if they just formed a seperate tribe or were eventually found by the denizens of Bartertown.

@BreezesofConey I agree. There was debate about making this in the first place but the creators wanted to. They felt more explanation was needed about a few things.
Not bad, just not on par with the first two.

While this movie can't top Mad Max and the Road Warrior, I consider this to be my personal favorite movie in the series and a decent movie.
