the dragon s lair arcade that was in my local arcade place near my house HAD 2 big buttons and the stick with alot of pictures all around the arcade was pretty cool and hard i be never passed the 1st try LOL
When the Cuck e cheese down the street from me got this game in 83', I would always waste .50 cents in this game ( waste I say because I would die so quickly). It was the only game in the place that was .50 cents to play. It would excite me so much because of its uniquness and then I would die so quickly. I never did see Space Ace anywhere. I was only 10 years old when this game came out.
It's not perfect. There is no beep sound when you make a move.

How do we know it really is the legendary no 1 machine, and not another one fixed up to look like No. 1?

Is the one at the Smithsonian still there or is that one owned by someone?

Is there anywhere where a complete play through of the original exists? I know you can get it on bluray but is there anything on the net?

Bet I can still finish the game on one credit

It's nice to see that Bluth might have played this once in awhile; 25 years is an awful long time to build up mold/dust/etc.

I'm really hoping to get the 20th Anniversy Edition of the game really soon. It looks super badass, like playing a choose-your-own-adventure book.

Okay, I'm all ticked off because you never focused the camera on the actual screen for more than a second. D<

It was owned by Don Bluth until few years ago... Now the game is inside the *famous* Finny's Lair ;-)
