Loved this review! Loved the whole series of reviews for Last Stand Of The Wreckers!!! I am buying this trade for sure now! Keep up the excellent reviews! How come you & gothamgirl don't do reviews together any more... Or how come she doesn't review any more?
I have to say that, for me, this series and Ongoing are almost like two sides of the same coin. The LSOTW-type story is a bit too gory and intense for my liking to see it all the time, whereas Ongoing is a bit too "meh" most of the time, with a few exceptions. Too, the artwork by both Roche and Figueroa (at least his classic-meets-movieverse designs) just don't do enough for me to want to see them draw a monthly. But, I will take another miniseries like this one.
