What is the benefit of this game, plus can you please explain how to differentiate between alphabets and numbers??? what do we have to do?

OK N-back means when the square or sound goes back. for example: N1-back when it starts you see the square pop up some where and if i pops up at the same place then you press visual. For audio its the same thing but the letter if it repeats the letter twice you press it. But the next level you have to wait 2 times.

In this case, you have to learn and get use to one N-Back level before you can play the next level. Each each level is all about getting used to it. If you keep playing, eventually the level you are playing on will become easy. Once it becomes easy, you must increase the level. So that's what I meant about that it's easy.

@The3nlightened0ne I suggest that you download Brain Workshop Dual N Back game because you can customize the game's settings to your likings. First, start off on the 1-Back level. Then work up to the 2-Back level. Then work up to the 3-Back level and beyond.

And trust me. This game works. I've noticed that I only have read long passages just one time and I am finding it much easier to remember information.

Don't forget. Your IQ is determined by how good your short-term and working memory is.

@owensra The audio and visual stimuli are randomly generated. You have to pay attention to whether the same position or letter were present "n" number back.

Have you tried turning the feedback on so you can see when you get a match? The easiest way to do it is just practice. Eventually you'll get more comfortable knowing when to press the button for matches.
