MetalChickendragon is a huge lady gaga fan. But like you said, its cool he likes crap. The real reason Mike has been covering horrible pop songs is in fact because he thinks its funny. They covered commodores for humor. Because for a second they would be playing war pigs to all the metalheads, then all of a sudden they hear a sweet soul song. They just thought that would be funny. Which is another reason why they did other genres in their music.

Its all a matter if you get the joke and can laugh at the madness, FNM just has a sense of humor, some people dont get it.

@PurpleAsparagus - Yeah I understand your frustration mwahaha, I just have to say that most all of the pop songs including Brittney Spears are just as crappy to me (or just as amusing). I didnt let that lady vestite get on my nerves any more than Britney or Christina haha. But she is definitly uglier and dresses more like a transvestite haha.
