Unfortunatly countries with large populations like Egypt do not have large deposits of oil.

Last year Egypt stopped being an oil exporter and was just able to supply itself, this year Egypt has become an oil importer.

And what has happened with the country in the mean time...

US intrest (fundings) to the regime dropped and the economic situation in Egypt got an extra blow ontop of the global debt terrorism, the regime fell and now the country seems to be increasingly unstable.

And this coincedently started when Egypt stopped being an oil exporter.
