Half the battle is figuring out how he played it. I have seen lessons where Eddie is supposedly the guest teacher but after time you see it's really just the magazine's version. To really nail it you have to know it in detail. To do that you have to become obsessed. Good Luck

I play this in 3 swinging phrases that sound like 2 when fast

(1)tap mute thumb mute,

tap mute thumb (thumb (let ring)

then slight pause

(2)tap mute thumb mute

then

(3)tap thumb thumb

you have to separate each part and let each phrase swing the last two are the turnaround that brings you to the first at the ending just play the first part. Let me know what you think. It helps if you can hear it slow.

You need to get smoother at playing it and some of the harmonics don't sound so good, but not bad at all otherwise. How old are you in the video? I was 17 or 18 when I learned it and it took a couple months of persistant practice before I could really do it well. It's hard to do, no doubt. It's really hard to find accurate tabs.
