I heard they can crack nutshells, I think it's best for a newer bird owner to get a small bird right? I never knew these birds have a personality, and can be devastated if your gone for a long time. i hope that never happens to one!

Do they nip or or can they do serious damage as a new pet that is? I'm afraid of the bigger birds so I might just get a parakeet.

Any bird can bite and from an Amazon it can hurt pretty bad if they want it to.
