Actually, I was put off of this synth by hearing all the generic sounding Trance presets it has (good though they are - just not my thing). But having played around with it properly I've seen it's capable of some pretty decent experimental sounds, and it even makes me like the sound of gated arpeggios. The wide variety of PWM types and filters, and the unison control are what makes this synth,

Both Nexus and Vanduard synths are amazing piece of equipment, so don't say such silly things like that they sucks or sth like that. Many of music producers use them, and probably for a reason. When i got my Nexus i couldn't stop playing with it for a couple of hours! Such amazing program, especially when you expand it!

I learnt it by experimenting, I'm playing synthesizer for 8 months know, and I know synthesis quite well now. But there must be some tutorials on the internet. Or an online guide. First learn the basics like ADSR and such... :) Good luck!

first thing i do after installing a new VSTi is deleting the presets to force myself into making my own sounds.

Also, i think i know verry wel how to operate a synth.

Move the control, then go to the little drop down box and choose "last modified control" or whatever it's called, and click automate.

you have to find it in a torrent site, and then download and unpack the files. then just run the set up and that should b it. use your favorite host and enjoy. that's how i got it working.

woww, nice.. well then, first, go here: Program Files -> Image-line -> FL Studio -> Plugins -> VST. Once you are there, make a new folder, named "Synths" for example. Then open the folder. Then you gotta find the Vanguard dll.file. Then drag the dll.file in the "Synths"-folder. When you have done this, report back to me. =P

And now Vanguard should pop in there. =)

I'm not sure how many there are. I only have all the presets that come with the synth when you buy it. I have tried some free packs but they all sucked. And I do have some (like 5-10) presets that I have made myself. If you want more good presets for Vanguard, I suggest these (I'm gonna buy them too): Sounds of Revolution 1, 2 and 3. Those packs are aaaweeessooomeee... At least what I have heard from the preview-songs. =)
