@hititdj I thought it was because, this was still the transition from his biker gimmick back to his Deadman routine. When he flipped from Deadman to biker (as Chris Jericho said), he did it slowly.

He still had the trenchcoat, still rolled his eyes in his head. But, he wore denim vest, then jeans, then he tied his hair up, etc.

Remember that 'Taker was buried alive with the headband. Now that the Deadman character was brought back, he still had most of the biker gear. He just added the hat.

It seems now though they've completely abandoned the biker/badass element, and now he's just a clown in tights who speaks with a Batman-like voice. He has great mic skills under his biker persona, but as the dead man, he should be silent and answer only to Paul Bearer. Also, when's the last time you saw him perform the Last Ride?

His most recent character is just pathetic to be honest, compared to here.

Hence he buried him alive(kayfabe again) and thus resulted in Mr.McMahon winning the Buried Alive match.

Kayfabe doesn't mean storyline. Kayfabe is a wrestling term which is kinda opposite to 'reality'. All that you see on-screen isn't always 'REAL' except the moves. Companies like WWE,TNA etc run on 'storylines'. Just like you have TV soaps and shows which run on fiction,WWE runs on storylines which are penned down by backstage writers and enacted by the wrestlers,kinda like a stage show.
