Gilmour proved to Waters that he was the musical soul in the band. Waters hated him for it for years. Waters knew Gilmour was right. Hey, it was Waters who left. Gilmour & Mason continued, and reinstated Rick Wright, whom Waters had fired.

Neither Mason or Gilmour forced him to leave. Waters himself said so, Mason and Gilmour said so too, so I wonder how you came up with the "facts"...or shall we say your own opinion about the matter. Noone forced Waters to anything, he left which was a good thing, he had become full of himself, his ego destroyed Floyd.

Got the whole gig on Dvd,its the best bootleg footage from this era ( 87/88/89 ) i reckon. I've managed to get about 20 gigs from this tour on Dvd now,this was the first i got & still the best..
