You feel calm and elevated, and that's why people keep smoking - to get that calm feeling, especially when they're stressed. Unfortunately, nicotine is addictive, and before you know it, you have a habit on your hands. It isn't really a fun thing for anyone to do, but if you're addicted, tough titties.
