And another thing... (this is just too easy) Basic (really basic) physics demonstrates that the drag coefficient on an object is exponential as the speed of it increases requiring higher amounts of power not less as you stated. Well, there we have it folks, three irrefutable demonstrations of lack of basic pilot knowledge.
Dihedral refers to the angle of the wing in relation to where it mates up to the fuselage. It has a direct affect on an aircrafts lateral stability. Again, basic knowledge for a real pilot. If any other REAL pilots read this they'll understand it and see clearly you're a FAKE. You're not even a good liar. These correct answers and your incorrect statements can't be disputed. The jig is up fool.
You're a shallow minded fool. Region of Reversed Command has nothing to do with increasing an airplanes speed or it's ability to maintain supersonic speed. It involves an airplanes slower region of flight when power setting controls altitude and angle of attack controls airspeed - pretty basic knowledge for flying stabilized approaches - clearly, you're not a pilot. Oh, we're not done yet - Dihedral, which one? which one? That question shows you have no idea what you're talking about.
i wanna be in the Air Force, but idk what is the appropriate height that i have to be to qualified to fly the jets. Becuz right now im only 5"3, and i dont know if that enough to qulified for the pilot program. And what kind of education i need and stuff like that, if you know some of the info, please comment and let me know
A college bachelor's degree at a minimum. Your best bet to get that degree from the Air Force Academy or at a college with ROTC. Also don't ever get into trouble or do anything wrong. Don't do drugs, ever.
@Extreme1567 I live in Holland and want to join the Air force to. I can only say that in Holland they say you have to be longer than 1,63 and not longer than 1,93. but there are exceptions they say. how ever, if you aren't so old yet, wait, you will grow till 18 (if your a boy) years old. I'm 14 and 163,7 cm XD.
i kinda agree with you, but i think the maintenance crew is doing the best they can, trying to keep the F-16 in good shape and ready to fly anytime and anywhere.
the problem is the f-18 cant do any of the roles it is tasked with great but can do them the tomcat was an interceptor and air superiority fighter which it did both exceptionally well
well now you dont know what you are talking about the hornet can not stay in a fight with a tomcat and yes maintenance wise the tomcat does suck but so does every other HIGH PERFORMANCE fighter, which the hornet is not.
and how do YOU believe he actually proved anything? cause i dont see where he proved a damned thing
@TheScrumpty With your arguement with "SuperHornetTV", you said you were an XO and retired because you didn't want to fly the Super Hornet.
With your arguement with "YoungForever211", who's a real sailor, he said that no one retired in 2006 on either squadrons. I gotta believe him because it's true. I was talking to the E-2C pilots of VAW-113 , and all the Tomcat pilots they used to work with preferred the Super Hornet over that Tomcat. And you don't even talk like your a pilot.
well if you read the thread with superhornettv then you know he was the one claiming something that he was not and claiming a lot of other things also, and as far as youngforever211 i dont know he is a sailor nor do i give a damn or have questioned his "knowledge" so to speak as far as the VAW-113 crews i knew a couple of them KEYWORD there is KNEW i doubt that they are still with VAW-113 now, so you believe that foreveryoung is a "real" sailor but you dont believe me well how fair is that?
you really dont get it do you? i dont throw the names of fellow or former sailors around and i am not here to repeatedly explain and prove the validity of my expertise, i have certain knowledge to offer this thread, so direct your venom someplace else
@TheScrumpty yup. and you can offer your spam elsewhere. not youtube. and i noticed. your not even commenting about any video you have watched. your always replying to people and debating with them. not one video, you haven't commented about THE VIDEO. just argueing and disagreeing with people. and give me your original youtube account username.
well if you would stop insulting me maybe i could comment about the video i am not disagreeing with people intentionally, but trying to correct wrong information and give you my original account username? well this one is it man you already have it
You really don't get it. You can't self claim your supposed "expertise" without being able to provide evidence of it's validity. You're against the "ropes"... You've been challenged... You have failed... Shall we discuss some aerodynamic physics of flight, say perhaps the Region of Reversed Command and how it relates to a sweep wing as opposed to a strait wing or maybe dihedral and it's affect on dynamic stability?
guess what i dont need to provide any proof and i am not gonna, if you want to take me at my word, fine, if you dont, fine, i dont care, i failed? at what? against the ropes? what ropes? what aerodynamic physics of flight are you wanting to discuss? region of reversed command was especially important in tomcats due to the swept wind design and was one of the reasons the tomcat had such a high top speed, the higher the speed the lower you can make your power settings, most aircraft are like this
but the tomcat was able to utilize this principal the best because of the sweeping wings which help out dramatically with range, and due to the automatic nature of the sweep wing design and our ability to manually control the sweep of the wings once we passed mach 1.6 we could drop out of afterburner and our speed would be maintained as supersonic, due to the swept wings and the region of reversed command, now as far as dihedral goes which one do you want to talk about?
and just so you know it was not just superhornettv there were several others as well but guess what i am not here to talk about my service to this great country i am here to talk about the 2 airframes in question and my knowledge of them utilising my expertise of having flown both of them, so any further attacks on my claims will from this point foward go unanswered by me, that is not why i am here
i'm sure most can shoot upside down if needed but that's mainly for show and to make sure that the radar energy is countered because the opening of the weapons bays makes the plane show up more on radar, but most of the older generation planes don't do this cuz you don't need to be that fancy on a head on BVR shot.

I've seen 9.6. The crews' had to comb the aircraft to check for any signs of over-g cracks.

i dont think the F-16 have any over-g cracks. It a strong aircraft, but this is me

@Extreme1567 Actually, F-16N Aggressors at Top Gun were retired in '94 because the wings were full of cracks, due to extreme over-G.

From what i think, it actually help alot, but it lies in the pilot's skills
