personall i prefer deth to pantera,i think many songs from pantera tend to sound the same while megadeth sounded diffrent with each album,offcourse you would recorgnise dave it's style but no album is alike,so one album may be rotten for another(risk as preferd to by many) while liked by others.i personally think risk didn't suck but that it wasn't that great either some song on that album are really great.crush em and ill be thre and some more compensated by some medium ones,the doctor etc.

They do say that, but I think it's fabricated, because they also say that Countdown to Extinction came out before the Black Album when it actually came out a year after. THey switch around and make it sound like Dave always gets screwd by Mattalica. So I think they were lying when they say that the original artwork wasn't used. THis artwork I don't think ever surfaced until way later in their career (like mid 90's).
