What's the version of mediasmart that you are using? I've got touchsmart tx2z with mediasmart 3.1, but it don't have twitter, hulu apps, calendar, etc. Did you download it where? Thanx friend.

this is not good for autocad. autocad requires too much raw power and this laptop is weak..and as u see touch sense is not so good..i dont understand why they cnat make good touch products like apple did..iphone2s sensitivity i,s far more better than any product on market..iam an contractor want to use this kind of laptop too but so weak :(

Anyway, i bought Hp touchsmart TX2 1300...it really impress me with its touch screen. it is using capacitive technology which let u touch with soft touches and control ur laptop..iam really impressed. i installed autocad..well,,runs ..but..not like ace 6530G laptop which has a good GPU on it ..but well still works..at your notice guys.this laptop is good..

No, not even the current tx2z 1300 have it. I bought mine in december and I never got the software. I spoke to a case manager and he said, yes we had it, but now we removed it for reasons unkonwn to him. Its BS mainly because they advertised on their website, and all these reveiews show that that it was integrated into the touchsmart software, but you just cant get it.

I have the tx2500z running windows 7 but i do not have any of those touch apps.....where would i look for this apps? in HP website?

You cannot use them their for the TX2 only and it requires multi touch which your computers does not have.

Yes it needs windows 7 it will not work on Windows Vista. Sorry this software is only for Windows 7 HP touchsmarts
