Well if you know Walter tell him he is a great player from me. I became familiar with him after I bought a Jimi Hendrix tribute cd. He played Hey Joe on there- I was blown away. Not just his guitar playing, but also his singing. He took command of that song like I have never heard anyone do. I hope he comes to the Yale in Vancouver fairly soon.

Oh Lord that was amazing. Lousy recording, but it documents quite an amazing moment. Walter's guitar is screaming "please help me get my due "Mr. Buddy". Those awestruck comments Buddy makes are pretty similar to what he said when Walter sat in 25 years ago. Buddy loved it! Josepi too!

seen walter in groningen the netherlands about 14 years ago on a blues night in the oosterpoorter,will never forget that,it was awesome,i was standing first row,leaning against the stage,and man,did he ever play the blues that evening,unforgetable...
