If you are good at merching, you can leech off of the stocks. The leaders sell the items and it makes a small dent in the GE, thats when you sell it and make just a little less than the leader. I did that to Goldmerch over six times.

actually if you're smart, you "dump" early as well as the clan leaders, you likely don't make the maximum profit but it is much safer

also don't merch if you're going to be away for a few days, each day is crucial when it coems to merchanting

i like to solo merch but if you want to avoid these scams buy when the item is realeased then sell a couple of days later or even the next day. it isnt a whoe lot of profit but it works.

1: wait for the item in the clan to change

(from the info in the video, the price will go down and below, making them junk.)

2: buy the previous item at the low price, since the price dropped

3: (longest part) wait.... and wait.... until the price goes up again.

Actually clans like that effect the whole Runescape community! A clan like that was massively selling corrupt dragon medium helms without anyone else knowing, and without warning, when my cousin bought one for 500k, the price dropped down to 150k.

Also, a group of players all tried a money making guide, by buying iron ores and using ring of forging to get iron bar 100% of the time. Then suddenly iron bars dropped to 30% of what they were, and the ore was more than the bar! This has been fixed...

people if you do use these clans, just nake sure, you always sell the item, before everyone else does, for example, if the goal price says 2m in the cc, and the item started at like 1.6m, ell at about 1.75/1.8m, and normally it's okay, but never keep hold of the item untill, the price it say's in the cc!

I hope as people get aware of this scam, they dump their items earlier than the leaders... Hopefully, the dumping dates/times will work closer and closer to the buying date that it is just not worth merching with this clan.

This basically means that the clan leaders have made huge profits but their time is limited as they will run out of people they can trick into "pumping" their items.

I only hope that these clans will all be forced to stop soon!
