Reapers play it "gangsta' style" like afro-americans or latinos(the way they shoot with their guns, their black face...)and then, there is this allusion to arab/muslim : Dustmen(Desert) making ambushes, suicide bombers...

the issue with his mic is likely a breakdown of the wires going to his computer. i had to replace a headset recently because i had stressed the cords soo much that it wouldnt even use the mic anymore... it would just screech...
