she did very well! sure, her posture could be improved but im sure by now she has fixed it! im very impressed with her timing! most kids at that age are sooo off, and no matter how well they know their music, they speed through it! She did very well with the beat, and nicely done with the skating. so what if she had some technical problems? she was 7 and im sure shes great now!

If her posture was better, then she would be jumping better. She is cute and all, but she is all off center. Good luck though.

My daughter is also a left and has a hard time working off the right hand side. Is this normal? Are right handed skaters less strong on the left side? She also has one other issue. From 7 years of dance she's learned to do the opposite of the instructor. An example; If her teacher did a waltz jump to the right, Lindsey would do the waltz jump to the left. Opposite direction. Like a mirror image. Too many years of ballet. It's driving her coach nuts. What can I do?

Most skaters not matter what way they jump have a strong side and a side not as strong.They can work on that :}My daughter is right handed but jumps/spins left.

I have no idea about the other issue,what is her most natural way to jump?

That was in july of last year. Now she has a much cleaner axel and a double salcow.
