Regardless of what mac machine (So including Macbook Air) Mac OS X is a simpler system to use as it's more user friendly which relates to apple providing both software\hardware that are compatible to one another.

this is very nice but i just thuoght id say i have an msi wind 1.6ghz 1g of ram and a 160gb hdd and a 10.1 inch screen its smaller and lighter better spec but it only cost like £320 but the mac book air is alot nicer is only it was cheaper lol

yeah honestly I use the macbook air as my primary machine. The only time I use my dell is if I want to play some games and as of lately I haven't even turned it on for that. It can be a primary machine easily.

Depends if your a gamer or big into video editting then MBP. If not then the Air is the way to go. It's light easy to use mobility is wondrous. To be honest even the more plastic Macbook is awesome for only 2.0 lbs more of weight. If you don't need the power and the super portability Macbook is the best choice
