Saw 'em live at a small venue in Houston shortly after learning of their existence - I was in high school early 80's - and they rocked like a real rock band...better than Stryper or Petra because of the edge on their music!!!! Rock on!
it was 1982 i think Resurrection Band came to Holland first time at Youth For Christ's Flevo Totaal Festival. I was working as volunteer on the festival terrain when Rez began soundchecking...about 5 meters from the huge speakerwall. Military Man was the first song they checked...and planted it in my head. I can tell you, I was deaf for at least 2 hours, but at the end of the festival I purchased all their albums available at that time.

Jesus and the church wage war through prophetic witness and martyrdom. Jesus' sword is the Word of God, not a sword of violence. A great book to read on unpacking Revelation is "The Theology of the Book of Revelation" by Richard Bauckham.
