i have great respect for michelle. to me, she is and will be the best in the world. i don't look at her technical qualities. if i did, then kim yuna or mao asada would be my favorites. but she has an amazing way of expressing her emotions through her performance. it just gives you goosebumps. nowadays people hail yuna but michelle's performances are more touching to watch.

I got goosebumps during her second performance and during the duet between her and Kim. wow, Kwan really is one of a kind. I really love her spins. they're so graceful and so far, I haven't seen any that matched hers.

she still connects wonderfully with the music. She looks about 10 pounds heavier. If she slimmed down to how she was, i am sure she could still compete. She probably wouldn't have the big jumps of Mao and Yuna, but so what. It would have been nice to at least see her skate in the GP series..

You don't have to put Michelle down to lift Yuna up. Many of us like Yuna also. It's not a good reflection of your favorite skater who loves Michelle to create opportunities to put her down It doesn't speak well of you, and Yuna would want to distance herself from a fan like you. She has class.

Michelle is obviously not perfect and you can give insightful comments and critiques (not useless trashing). I can also say Yuna's COE spiral is terrible and she doesn't always give an honest performance and here she didn't do well in her triple jumps as well, but i have refrained to do that until i saw your immature comments. And I do like Yuna!
