But anyways no video can be compared to the original audio file, thats why YT is mostly for previewing purposes. If you or someone else though think you can upload a better quality version please do.

@EMPER422 Yeah. There are many better quality rips on Youtube however. Whatever software you are using is just not getting the job done adequately. I know it won't be the best sound quality possible, but this is way too compressed.

@HatredDisgust92 Forgot to mention that audio gets way more compressed than video (128Kbps THE MOST), quite reasonable though since YT is meant for video uploading. All my uploads are with the highest audio quality available (mostly 320Kbps and only a few @ 192Kbps),however the final result is what you hear,cant do much i'm afraid.

Amazing song. I really do not understand how they can create such sounds. It's so layered and dynamic, so unbelievably dissonant and atonal, and so chaotic. Every member of this band is fucking talented as hell in a very unconventional way. It really makes me laugh now, after having heard so much Deathspell, to think of all the people who listen to Darkthrone and Mayhem and think they're so obscure and dark and evil. I don't think any band encapsulates evil in sound like these guys do.

Mayhem and Darkthrone created complex, narrative structures unlike DSO, who, like you correctly noted, are adept at channeling directionless chaos through their music. Let's face it, Mayhem and Darkthrone at their peak had something to say musically whereas DSO just tries to write music as edgy, as chaotic and as unintelligible as possible. This is not a complex artistic message after all, we find music pleasant because we recognize human intelligence behind it. This stuff just sucks bad.

I cannot for the life of me see how just about anything Darkthrone or Mayhem have ever created, could really objectively be called complex. I do not think it is right to make assumptions about what the members of DSO "try to make" with their music. Just because they are so very different does not make them some sort of failure. It merely requires a different perspective of analysis to judge them. From reading their lyrics and interviews with them, the people in DSO are ....

@Obsidus for sure very intelligent people, that have, atleast in their own view, a very specific and important agenda in their music. Not just "chaotic and unintelligible" for its own sake. Which isn't even accurate, it's very intelligible if you are willing to analyze it outside the box. Dissonance and atonality are valid musical expressions, they're just not popular or common, and of course number of people liking or disliking something does not make something more or less valid or appreciable

You cannot arrive at that conclusion because the idea that something that is chaotic and seemingly unintelligible cannot be artistic is false. Music is appreciable for more reasons than how pleasant it is or is not, yet again that conclusion does not follow. Not all art has to be pleasant to be likable. Saying it sucks is your opinion and has no objective basis.

Though it seems structureless during the first few listens, studying the composition itself proves that this(Fas) has one of the most complex structures in all of Metal. If listened to in the way of a classical symphony, this becomes apparent. Too mnay focus on the chaotic, noisy nature of it, but those are just aethetices that accentuate the music. They are not neccessarily needed. Not a knock against Mayhem or Darkthrone or anything.
