When I was little, they used to play Canadian shorts like "The Cat Came Back" on Nickelodeon. YES, NICKELODEON. Keep in mind this was little over two decades ago, when the network was just a fledgling. After watching this one, I'm glad they never aired THIS one back then, considering "The Cat Came Back" scared the tar out of me for reasons I'll never know.

Watching this and TCCB now, I have a much greater appreciation for Cordell Barker's animation and storytelling style.
