да, хорошая механика, но эффективной локомоции не обеспечивает. возможно, дело в неверно выбранном материале корпуса - нет достаточного сцепления с субстратом.

Там стоят сервомоторы Hitec

Единственное, что ломалось в начале это пластиковый редуктор, но потом мы его заменили на алюминиевый и теперь все в порядке

It was actually used on a french "reality TV" type show that took place on a fort where they had to do somewhat fear factor like events in order to get keys to a gold coin event thing. This is maybe like over 10 years ago can't remember. It was pretty fun back then though.

но в тот момент изготовитель детаей не имел всех необходимых подходящих цветов для отливки пластика, поэтому выбрали корпоративный цвет института :=)

Змея имеет очень чуствительный орган, реааирующий на сотрясение почвы, но я о другом - может эффективно будет применить в качестве датчиков - элементы типа touch screen, для "ощуения" почвы и акселерометы в голове твари, плюс хороший proc. Не обижайтесь, может я не прав и размечтался - удачи

Your well-founded doubts, but this is due to the limited mobility of one of the degrees of freedom. therefore, this model is relatively flat, but in the inclination of 15 degrees robot overcomes without problems. we show that in future videos.

The main work now is precisely directed to the robot moving rough terrain - this is one of our goals and of cause motion planning :-)
