  • stupid police dispatcher..."do you need an ambulance?" the woman said she's been shot and she still asked? and why would she still ask for the address? aren't the add. suppose to flash in the screen once you knew the phone number?

  • OMG!!!!!!!!! DAUGHTER: IVE BEEN SHOT DIPATCHER: DO YOU NEED AN AMBULANCE???? siriously that made me laugh forever!!!!!

  • Do you have the episode called Boxcar Boy? About a boy that falls into a boxcar on a train?

  • Mental illness is not an easy thing to deal with especially if it's your own family. They don't know what they are doing and are not in their right mind. People don't understand that it is called an ILLNESS for a reason. They are SICK and need treatment.

It's possible that he thought his family was going to harm him and that's why he was attacking family. Schizophrenia distorts the world to the sick person. He probably thought his life was in danger.

  • I can't believe you all are against autism. I'm autistic and the reason why you all are against autism is because you never been autistic. I'm autistic and I know whats when people get on our nerves and call us names. maybe this guy did what he did because he got tired of his family and other being mean to him and pressure him. I would get like that even if I have to risk my life. so you better watch it or someone like him is going to come after you

  • @graduation2010ful He was not autistic, he was schizophrenic.

  • The portable computers in police cars today make the one she uses here look like a Nintendo Gameboy.

  • she locked the bottem lock ! 2:19

  • that why i have a alarm and a ez armer and a gun

  • Does any one know any updates on the family

  • man i love your vids

  • I would have climbed out a window.

  • they have computers in their cars? geez!

  • I don't know about any one else. But after something like that. I would learn to defend myself one way or the other. And if some like him can get a gun in this country. Then that is a scary thought. This proves that we need a tighter hold on gun control. To keep them away from people like him.

  • If this guy can't ever learn to act nice and positive and is going to keep acting angry, ill and violent the way he's been even after going to the mental hospital numerous times, then I think they might as well execute him.

  • If he intends to kill multiple people upon leaving prison, why EVER release him?

  • thats just sad

  • omg i hope they never let him out

  • haha "you know how many kids watch this" like kids are going to live an awful life cause someone swears on a website.

  • never stay at the phone... lock yourself up

  • THAT is why they have enhanced 911 now.

  • Officer Greg L again: The rules of when to use deadly force on a subject are very clear. The officer has to witness the suspect using deadly force on a citizen or police officer, or the subject has to be an IMMEDIATE threat to the officer's life.

Example: A suspect pulled a shovel from his car trunk clearly intending to hit me with it. I could draw my weapon, but still had to give him a chance to drop the shovel.

Deadly force is only used when nothing else will work-and your life is in danger.

  • @vickiormindyb: It is clear in a per-policy respect, but each state and sometimes each department makes its own policy regarding this. Wisconsin may be different than Illinois which may be different than Florida.

  • How did a person, who just got out of a mental institution, get a gun so fast?

Is it just me or does that scare anyone else?

  • He may have already owned it before he got committed and family didn't know. Either way, not very comforting.

  • He's Even Worse Than Mary Camden , Tsa Takes This Stuff Serioulsy Love Scott Orvik

  • Officer Greg again: This segment is proof of a suspect who truly is mentally ill-as opposed to all the people who ACT like they're ill, thinking that will get them a lighter sentence.

It's obvious that the suspect really has an illness.

  • pasae at 5:24

  • Officer Greg here: I've been a police officer for 11 years. They didn't shoot the guy, because he wasn't a threat to them.

Deadly force is used under one condition only: the person is an immediate and potentially fatal threat to your safety.

You're allowed to draw your weapon on a suspect who's already shot someone, but you can't fire until he's a threat to your life.

Another thing: It's not easy to deal with the emotional effects of killing someone. I know. I've had to do it b4.

  • @vickiormindyb I have a question officer. Police don't want people to get hurt, or to hurt people, so when its nessery to shoot a victim, shouldn't it always be at the legs. I mean, its lose the person down, and its not as damaging, as getting shot in the top part of the body. Its only a question???

  • why doesnt she know her daughters address she should know the address since she knows how dangerous her son is and is willing to kill his family members

  • @steph66002 Yes ur right the mther should know her her own daughters address!

  • I Wouldn't Dare Mess With Jimmy , Airline Pilots Are Trained To Deal With That Sort Of Thing , I'm Learning How To Check Out Clues , And Not Make Violent People Made , Pilots Use Guns If That Kind Of Thing Happens , The Tsa Staff Takes Growing Problems For One Family Seriously , Love Scott Orvik

  • he jus needed sum good herb to chill his mind

  • fuck jimmy.

    i loathe peeps like him

  • People With An Illness Could Do The Same Thing To Other People If They Make Jokes About Violent People That Have Illnesses ,

  • this is a scary segment in my opinion.

  • I'm glad my sister's schizophrenia presents in the opposite direction. She always thinks of killing herself, never others. That's not a gr8 turn of events, but I believe it's better when other people don't have to suffer for an illness they don't have.

  • I can't believe this happened almost 20 years ago.

  • This might sound nasty, but the son sounds like a homicidal maniac.

The son said "he did not want to die" and yet he's out to kill his family???

When he get's out he'll probably go after his family again.

The cop should have killed him as the son's mother requested.

If any of you were the cop, would you have killed him???

Maybe give him life rotting in that mental institution with no chance to get out.

  • This was one of the darkest Rescue 9-1-1 episodes I have ever scene. This mother's child had serious mental issues and I think it is sad when people go crazy they think the world is against them. Instead taking their problems out on violence they should seek help right away.

  • so when does he get out and whats going to happen? Just what we need, a mentally challenged cowboy with a revolver

  • when she first said "kill him, kill him" i was like omg wtf thats awful, but if it was my son and my daughter, i would have reactred the same way

  • thats when you need to own a gun and shoot him back, haha

  • WTF, He's just shot me and thn "U need an ambulance"..... no! she needs a donut. u moron. what is this, last century AMERICA?.

  • Technically yes, this was last century.

  • @calleddy69 haha yea thats what i said to myself im like ... what why is she asking "do u need an ambulance" when shes just been shot in her hand ... what if she said no .-. haha id laugh

  • shouldn't the 911 dispatcher be giving first aid advice to her not the mother

  • I think it was generous of her to say she's glad it wasn't her grandma who got hurt.

She was thinking more about her grandma than herself which, during a trauma, is nothing short of amazing.

It reminds me of my daughter's dad. In his last hours, he cared more about how his daughter was going to handle his death than he did about what was happening to him.

    That's unbelievable-but it's true.

  • Why didn't she run, ffs!!! IS SHE STUPID!!!?

  • That's the freaking womans fault for calling a relative instead of calling 911.

  • William Shatner... where do i know that name from?

  • star trek, lol! he was captain kirk

  • Just b/c a wound is not in a "vital" area doesn't make it inconsequential.

An injury to the hand has a high tendency to develop infection, b/c it's furthest from the heart and circulation is much slower in that area.

They shouldn't have told her "it's just your hand."

If they wanted to calm her, they could have informed her of the breathing technique for calming panic.

Rescue workers should never make a patient feel that an injury is insignificant. IMO that's just wrong.

    Vicki B., Paramedic

  • with the phone number, the police should be able to trace it.. why bother ask the address?

  • The ability to trace calls by 911 dispatch is actually fairly new. Even by the mid 1990s not all 911 dispatch centers had the ability to trace calls.

  • Not all 911 dispatch centers have the ability to trace calls. Most do now but not all of them.

  • it might have been something with the technology at the time.

  • your silly.

  • I think little Jimmy needed his ass whipped a couple of times when he was little and he wouldn't be acting crazy when he got older.

  • Certain types of mental illness are biochemical in nature and are not altered when behavior modifying techniques are used.

Schizophrenia is believed to be caused by an excess of dopamine flooding the brain.

OTOH no illness can excuse shooting people.

I have no idea why they let him out nor why he believes he'll get out again.

Personally I'd make him stay in, but I'm no psychiatrist.

I just believe society would be safer with him in.

  • Ever heard of panic?

  • Oh, yes, I've heard of the concept.

But I wouldn't let it get me killed

  • Oh, panic is panic.

  • She was probably in 'Shock'.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! That's funny, you know why? Because NOONE knows how panic will affect them. Panic can lead to shock and if not treated, shock kills. Lessen up your ego a bit and take some first aid classes. You'll learn a lot, trust me.

    -Nathan, EMT

  • That is scary how anyones door can be broken down ( I am getting a steel door) LOL

  • Why is this called conference call?

  • Because the dipatcher was on the phone with both of them.

  • If this guy Jimmy is never going to get better, and he is just going to say threats about killing a lot of people when he gets out, then he really does deserve to die. There is no reason why he should be alive if all he is going to do is keep being angry and mentally ill.

  • y do they always asked u nd an ambulance when u r injured or u r shot??? ...jeez

  • That statement that he's going to leave a number of bodies the next time he's out bothers me for two reasons: 1) It implies he's making a plan, which indicates logical--not mentally ill--thinking. Mentally ill people don't ordinarily plan ahead that way, they act on feelings of the moment.

    2) It boldly implies he foresees a future release; and he's not going to get better first, according to what he said about the body count.

If that's his attitude, he deserves to rot in there.

  • The 911 service was terribly slow and tedious handling this. The fact that the shooter was a moron and shot once (inaccurately) was the only thing that saved her.

  • I see the lady call 911 on the phone how did she call them without tying up the line it looks like the phone was plugged in for the recreation

  • 2 phones.

  • man i hate ur vids

  • Thanks.

  • @rpones I know its a been a year but why would you even write that on a vid you watched? Have you matured since then?

  • @rpones then why are u watching ????? that simple and easy :D

  • @rpones if u hate the videos fuck offfffffffffffffffffffffffffff

  • @rpones well I find them really interesting

  • @rpones then hate them quietly.

  • never mine

  • she couldnt the phone was rip out of the wall

  • i think he in 50 or more in prison to Life in prison

  • schizophrenic? the guy is practically a Michael Myers copycat.

  • What scares me is that fact that I'm moving to Dallas next year.

  • love your videos

  • Comment removed

  • Owning a gun for self defense often times does more harm then good. Also, please keep in mind that this is a show that kids enjoy watching and young people are watching on here as well, please watch your language.

  • I agree.

  • Watch your language do you know how many kids watch this?! And when didn't she call 911 when she saw him at the door?

  • @pug6666 Im thinking 911 was so knew back then that her first instict was to call her mom because 911 isnt something she grew up with as we know it today

  • the tape goes round and round on the Dictaphone. The Disabledno keeps the tape going round and round

  • Very True.

  • if they KNOW for a FACT that this guy is a danger to others, is there not something in the States that allows them to keep him committed against his will?

  • No, not for the long term. This does not mean he his violent because of his illness. He is likely violent because he is a violent person.

  • yea but either way, there are clearly some emotional dynamics involved here, which constitutes a psychiatric crisis

  • If he has committed any act against another person to include making threats, he can be charged with assault/battery and from there the court can order him to be institutionalized for as long as needed.

  • what a dumbass she didn't even think to call 911 first.

  • This episode gives me CHILLS. I remember seeing it a few years back and I felt so bad for the family. Geez, just when you think that YOUR family has problems, you get a rude awakening and see that things could be much worse! lol I also didn't realize that schitzophrenia could be this serious. I'm glad this man's intended victims survived and I hope they are doing very well as a family today. Hopefully, they will be able to come to terms with what happened.

  • u call a family member when he arrives? Stupid Stupid Stupid!!!!!! U automatically dial 911.

  • dont let him out, simple as that. let him rot in a jail cell.

  • you got that right

  • It seems like the dispatchers are always women and the cops are usually men...

  • Just re-watched and Jimmy says that he didn't want to die that day.

Yet he is after to kill his family.

Those cops should have shot and killed him as the mother said.

  • I agree with the victim 100%. It could have been alot worse than what it was.

  • Thank god it wasn't.

  • just shoot that stupid loser in the face and end it all! Skitzo or not, he's a stupid peice of shit, who needs not live if he is going to act in that way.

  • Agree! They should have killed him instead of cuff him.

  • How many years did the guy get?

  • I just wanna say that anyone (including allgood) thats uploading these, if you could upload MORE that would be fantabulous.

  • oh, i never seen that episode

  • BeatleMoe uploaded it today.

  • what episode are you talking about allgood2000?

  • "911 Spider Bite" from Episode 206

  • is the episode posted where an old woman gardening was bitten by a black widow? thats the only episode that sticks out in my mind from my childhood

  • No.

  • i think she was going in to a shed not garding

  • She was repairing the solar heat system on the roof of the house. She had been throwing junk off the roof into the yard, and she picked up the junk and put it in her shed. The spider bit her while she was in there.

  • As long as we're doing requests...Does anyone know if the episode with the guy who shot his pregnant wife and himself and tried to pass it off as an accident, where the cops ended up finding them by using their sirens while the dispatcher listened through the open phone line is posted?...In Boson if I remember correctly

  • That's "Boston" from Episode 120. It has already been uploaded.

  • one of the creepiest and most sadistic episodes I've ever seen- the alarm going off didn't help, either!

  • How did a mental patient buy a gun?

  • I don't know, but this did happen 18 years ago, so the laws were probably different back then.

  • here's my theory for the opening intro where a police dispatcher says Houston police dept

the caller sounds like martha from this segment because in the intro the woman has the same voice and frantic tone, I wonder if it's an outtake.

  • No, because this happened in Dallas, not Houston.

  • Do you have the episode about the Dallas cop who got shot and paralyzed next to a school? I remember that incident pretty well.

  • Yes.

  • i live in arkansas were we have self defence law's if an intruder came in my house to harm me i have the right to use deadly force.

  • Houston is also in texas.

  • To this day, where I reside, one can legally purchase a used handgun with only a drivers license.

  • @ "gazdarronik" where at?

  • georgia

  • Stupid fucking bitch... why would she call 911 if she didnt know the address.... get the daughter to call 911... Shit i hate morons.

  • why do you care?!!

  • It's just frustrating there is so many stupid ppl out there.

  • Like you?

  • The shooter looks like Johnny Depp

  • yeh, but I can't remember from witch movie.

  • Finding Neverland I believe.

  • OMG!! That is freaky.

  • OMG He shot U? AHHHHH Yeah Mom! Didn't just SAY THAT

  • go to tvshowsondvd, com and vote on rescue 911 to come out on dvd, rescue 911 has 433 votes

  • I think Jimmy was not only mentally ill but he was probably also drunk or on drugs.

  • The cop says the son said "He didn't want to do die today". And yet he has already been after his family to kill them. That is messed up!!

  • wow! the daughter is so dumb! she should've called 911 first and not her mother :P

  • o ye this 1!

  • this could fall under the category "Incompetent to stand trial due to mental disease or defect" since he has schizophrenia

  • The mother is an idiot too what kind of reasonble parents don't know where their kids live. for the love of pete I have my own apt and my mom knows where I live I think that woman needs to go to a store and buy an adress book

  • I think she knew it, but she was panicking and couldn't remember it off the top of her head.

  • No she's not. 1. She's in a panic. 2. It's not unreasonable that she doesn't know the exact address at all.

  • God,the 911 dispatcher is an idiot. "Do you need an ambulance" hell ya she does she got shot dumbass.

  • definitely keep him away for good if he's talking about finishing the job in killing his family along with policeman, but pray that the courts don't feel sympathy for him because of his mental illness and give him a short sentence and be back out on the streets in no time.

  • damn...

  • i would have climbed out the window and knocked on someone elses window in the back where he couldnt see her.

  • I kind of wondered why she didn't just do that myself.

  • I woundered that too and why did she stand where he could she he when broke in?

  • The cop says the son said "He didn't want to do die today". And yet he has already been after his family to kill them. That is messed up!!

  • Wow! That child was so lucky!

  • don`t mess with texas.inbreeding is not good.nice of them to call.kind of verifies that she is home, makes it easier for the brother

  • No wonder my Parents won't drive through Dallas so Much.

  • don't these videos make you cry a good cry

  • Kind of. Actually, this scares the hell out of me.

  • The cops should of been prepared when confronting the son by wearing a bullet-proof vest because the mother did state the son would kill the cops..also although the son did not shoot, he could of easily done so because he was so inclined...that was one of the more nasty segments!!

  • the segments I like are where shatner says Actors have helped us reconstruct the events, this is one of them.

  • That's sad that a mother had to make such a decision on whether her child should live or die...

  • wow i didnt know schizophrenia can get sooo severe as in this segment that he tried to harm his family.

  • I knew someone that has a mild case of schizophrenia, he scared me to death one night.

  • this is a treasured segment from my childhood

  • What a nasty man!! I hope he gets life

in prison or life in the mental institution..!!

An extremely violent person who is willing to kill

a policeman and/or his family members should be given the death penalty!! The mistake was they let him out of the hospital--when they should of left him there for life!! The officers should have shot him as

the lady requested--she said he will get out and they will be dead bodies--so he needs to be put away for life..

  • He was mentally ill. He can't get the death penalty.

  • If not a death penalty, life in that hospital he was commited to , or life in prison.

  • I agree that he should stay in a hospital for treatment so he can't hurt anyone else.

  • Mentaly crazy or not, he was after to kill his family and was willing to duke it out with the cops if they attempted to aprehend him!

    That calls for desperate measures!

  • In Dallas? God...I live in Dallas County...so this one kind of hits home for me...

  • Well I didn't mean any Offence.

  • umm...you didn't offend...
