  • she took pictures with vietnamese soldiers while in the background americans were being tortured. Fuck this cunt, she is no american hero, she deserves to be tied down and painfully tortured until she no longer breathes. Forgive her?? are you serious? Shes a traitor, in alot of other countries she would be killed immediatly, ill forgive her when shes dead. Jane Fonda, the number 1 heartless cunt.

  • @MCjrotcbluedevils

sir, you should feel the way you want to feel, but at the same time, from your hate filled comment, you have only heard half the story. She did not intend to take photos with the viet cong, nor did the paper slips story occur. Look it up. Also, try swearing less. Nobody will take you seriously if all you do is spew vitriol. Take care.

  • I agree with Jane - "You can oppose a war and still support the troops". She rocks!

  • no talent just got a job because her dad was an actor and her old man was a boring actor

  • When the Jews forgive Hitler, I'll forgive Hanoi Jane.....

  • @Jinka50

    Nobody needs your forgiveness.

  • Don't give up the good fight Jane. We love you and your success in your craft is a testament to the appreciation of the public at large. Conservatives, right wingers, et al tell everyone else to "get over it" and "move on." Perhaps they should do the same.

    Just my two pennies.

  • This woman has alot of intelligent nuggets of wisdom to disperse, yet many people just overlook it because she's "Hanoi" Jane and to them that's it and always will be it. These are stupid, truly ignorant people who only believe what they choose to believe.

  • @ccipollini1984 - You are so right! I've always admired her-go Jane!

  • Jane certainly has inspired me and shown me how to connect the dots

  • I`ll forgive Jane Fonda when the Jews forgive Hitler.

  • @loufalce

she neither needs nor wants your forgiveness FUCKface...

  • Ms. Fonda has been a hero in my life for a long, long time. She is a brilliant actress, writer, and activist. Fabulous video.

  • What she says of the psychology of men is very, very true. I see it in alot of her ubermale detractors.

  • I like Fonda for her candidness. I don't agree with her politics, per se, but her movies (for the most part) are good and, like I said, I admire that she's not afraid to speak her mind.

  • Look. She's a primadonna. A hollyweird *star* (oh gasp!!!). She's never had to do her own laundry or cook day afyer day. When was the last time she scrubbed a toilet? I can't stand these *celebrities* who believe they are somehow more important than I am, more blessed. They believe I need help to think so I have to suffer their stupid politics and hurtful actions. If only Henry Fonda had been a better father. Martin Sheen needs to man up...and then leave the world alone.

  • @Boris82much if you were more blessed... you wouldnt need to be so bitter! Everyone has their own problems...desease death loss like everyone else. She worked very hard...being an actor author producer campainer for civil rights takes a lot of hard work and dedication...what do YOU contribute to the planet?

  • @tyjeffries Sigh. She has done a great deal of HARM to men and women who fought for your sorry ass, so you could speak freely and mangle the English language and misspell so many words that you give Spell-Check heartburn. And trust me jeffy, I have put a lot more on the wood pile than you ever will.

  • @Boris82much lol... you are funny.. My names not Jeffy for a start. And none of your American soldiers in vietnam fought to save MY 'sorry ass' as I am British. lol

I think I know more about spelling and the English language than you do.

By the way an 'ass' is a donkey ( I go by car not beast of burden) and an 'arse' is a what you might call a butt... if thats what you mean... if you are speaking the queens English that is as opposed to the bastardised mish-mash you call 'American English'.

  • @tyjeffries Another fudge-packer...who needs to visit his hair stylist.

  • @Boris82much of course you are...but no one is judging you for being those things. lol poor creature.

  • @tyjeffries - If I may, I'll answer in his stead...

reinforced the stereotype of, jingoist, sycophant and myopic chauvinist

  • @Boris82much You DON'T have to suffer her politics. No one is forcing you to watch this video.

  • @VMARIE20 In case you are under the age of 40 and have no idea what the First Amendment is, I'll let your silly reply speak for itself.

  • @Boris82much

Don't marginalize her. If you knew anything about her, you would not make such inane comments.

  • @ccipollini1984 Oooooh...you insinuate you know her. Aren't you special! Doesn't change my mind one iota cause she was and remains a radical Hollywood nut-job.

  • @Boris82much- A closed mind is a wonderful thing to waste...

Take heed you mindless fuck. You may very well owe your live status to this conscientious, brave woman. I certainly do.

  • I like Jane Fonda but disagree with her politics.

  • @katetx

Alot of people don't realize you CAN like someone regardless of his or her politics. I admire you .

  • Brilliant woman. Her detractors are not smart people.

  • I'm a true fan.

  • I want to hear from the third-wave feminists!

Where's Rebecca Walker? Why has her voice

been silenced by the second-wave feminists!

who viciously attacked her when she spoke

    her truth.

  • why do American audiences feel the need to applaud evey 30 seconds - its bloody annoying

  • what the hell r u talking about...get your facts together....

  • lol...

  • screw the FBI vulgar nazis!!!

  • jane fonda is fabulous she was a bulimic hooked on speed and she looks fabulous and she's so wise

  • nobody cares what all you perplexed men say or do or want - go see a shrink you're all obsessed with her and her life just admit it and go on - so did you go to 'Nam or did you just stay home? pussy

  • Wow, mildouche. Seems like I touched a raw nerve that has little to do with your hero. "... all you perplexed men..."? I'm not obsessed with her. I'm not even perplexed by her. She's always been pretty obvious, really. As for 'Nam, I went the John Kerry route. How about you? It's ancient history, all right. People want to know why she's still hated by some, and I'm telling them why. BTW...between your cute monniker and anatomical epithet, it seems like you're the one with an obsession.

  • On second thought, mildouche... I see you're into smegma, too. Your interests are broader than I thought.

  • You forgot to mention traitor in the description.

  • hey smegma yer boyfriend wants you

  • Ms Fonda is a true american hero!

  • I've always admired Jane Fonda.

  • I really love her

  • How come jane gets all the traitor hate blame! What about the outhers that went with her, donald sutherland ? How come they don't yell traitor at him? It's always a woman that takes the fall, Just ask Martha Stewart, Leona helmsly, etc, etc, Go jane Go, Fighting for your liberty makes life more worth while.

  • she's apologized time and again. enough already. she didn't "side" with the enemy. Shit!!! At least she WENT to Vietnam!!! How many of those that hate her so much can say that? Cheney? Bush????

  • NY Times best seller. Now WHY doesn't that surprise me?

  • i truely wish she just stayed in acting, not a political novice spewing stuff she has no idea of.i love her acting talents. once apon a time she was hot too. i loved her.but when she turned on the U.S OF A...i lost all respect. the U.S made her a star. she backed a country that would have made her a slave......

  • She's nothing more than a feminist and a traitor who sides with the enemy. Too bad they didn't have the technology then they now have today in order to locate her by GPS or something and drop a bomb on her traitor a** while she was making nice with the enemy.

  • she didn't back Vietnam. Look, she's apologized. Leave it be already...

  • These people that hate Jane Fonda so much are so naive. It's asif they expect Jane herself to be reading thier asinine comments and be hurt horrified and offended by them. Think what you will, she is doing well in her life and built up an inner strength to the immature and blind contempt people have and continue put on her long ago. Jane will always emerge the winner. Contemptuous youtube commenters-not so much.

  • She is intelligent and has learned from her part, which is so admirable. Many of the famous should follow her examples.

It's too bad people just go and judge her like cowards behind thier keyboards, without listening to her.

  • why is jane living in Atlanta Georgia and not north Vietnam? because there is no social elite in a communist society. she would have to forfeit her wealth to the state and we all know this bitch would never do that. this woman should be in jail.

  • 58:23-1:00:35

  • Did you go to Vietnam? Hmm?

  • stfu

  • yeah, that was good,!!! ijustlovetea.

  • Thank you, thank you. Much love to everyone...except Jane hating republicans...

  • SHE is so right, but then there are people that don't like what makes sense, it scares them..

  • Yea, they're called republicans!

  • Too bad Hanio Whore Jane Fonda did not drown and die during the filming of On Golden Pond.

  • No - unlike the trash that went to fight in Vietnam, she lived on an thrived.

God loves her because she's brave.

He despisees you because you can only hate. That is all you can do. Hide anonymously behind a screen, and declare with your hate what a complete and utter failure you are.

You lost the war. Get the fuck over it, you walking garbage.

  • Dreamlover365 - you are a piece of shit and the scum of the Earth. How dare you call the brave American men and women who went to Vietnam "trash". Your filthy tongue should fall out of your vile mouth. Two words for you pig - DROP DEAD.

  • I'm againt the things people say about Fonda, but alot of the people who went to Vietnam were good people and you shoulden't generalize them by calling them trash. I don't agree with thier pea brined comments about jane, but they weren't bad people and I'm 98 percent sure they diden't want to be there.

  • Hanio? Where is that?

  • brined? what is that?

  • Daauuuhh, I don't done there know!

Hey ya'll ain't this a doozy! We can make little words about all these here talk'in pictures! I need some moonshine....

  • maybe you should get some professional help for whatever problem you have

  • No, that's okay. I thank you for your concern though.

  • Did you go to Vietnam?? Did your father? Anyone you know go? And at least she went to Vietnam!!! Not your Bush or your Cheney...

  • I wish the people that are so anti-Jane Fonda would use their anger at the government that sent them there to fight and later abandoned them. Ditto for the chemical companies that made Agent Orange that poisioned them and Vietnam.

Love her or hate her Jane Fonda never sent anyone to Vietnam.

  • That you're a good citizen I have no doubt, we all have differing political views, it would be boring otherwise...

I'm glad you respect the military, and please know that no one hates war more than a Soldier.

I personally go out of my way to thank everyone I see in uniform, we Vietnam Era Vets will never allow them to suffer the terrible treatment we recieved in the 60's

Have a good life and God Bless America...

  • Yea. I don't want to fight. I hate fighting, especially over youtube. My god is anything more pathetic!? I'm better then that! As far as Fonda is concerned, we agree to disagree. Hachet buried. There.

    Have a good one!

  • No, I have never served in the military and am not about to say otherwise. I respect those who do. Don't insinuate that I hate our servicemen and woman. This country hs mountians of flaws and as a taxpaying, voting citizen, I feel privy to call my country out on them. However the GI's are doing something I could never do and I respect that deeply.

They obviously feel diferently about Fonda, but that's fine by me. I loathe hoe people think that if your anti war, your anticountry and solider...

  • Why are you so filled with contempt?

Your holding onto something that happned almost 40 years ago like it's all you have in the world. Did you know she was supported by many GI's both before and after that trip to Hanoi? No, you don't. Your stuck in the past with these opinions that spew venom and hate. How has she affected you directly? What did she do to YOU? I don't mean vaguley, indirectly, or anything like that, how has she affected YOU person to person.

  • So many lies about Jane Fonda have been circulating for too long. These lies are made up and circulated to cast her in the role of a scapegoat for an immoral and criminal war, because it's much easier to pick on a Hollywood actress than it is to go after the real criminals: top officials in the government, both Democratic and Republican, who planned and carried out the war. Also, from the very beginning of her anti-war involvement Fonda was supported by many GIs.

  • But people like heartofspace and hnymooner choose to overlook that and live in ignorance. I have a question. Try this one on for size. How many people are actually LISTENING to what she is saying on this video as a pose to jumping her at the first chance and slamming Hanoi on her head?

    Little to nobody, that's who.

  • what a sad comment you've made, why not try feeling sorry for the POW's who were tortured by the NVA! I'm not sure if your an American (or male) if yes, then stand like a MAN, reach down and give'm a squeeze...

It didn't take guts to do what the BITCH did, she was a star in N Vietnam and with the leftists creeps here. I go way beyond hating this traitor .....way beyond...

  • Your opinons are on you. Masculinity is irrelevent.

You can hate her or way beyond hate her until the sky turns polkadot and it won't get a rise out of her for a fraction of a seconed. She did her part and applogised, ragardless of what you or your anyone feels and I celebrate her for having the guts she has and always will have to take on hostility and ignorance like yours. Youer a sad hate filled human being. How pitiful that is.

  • Jane Fonda is enjoying retirement in Hanoi, Vietnam. She just loves those little commie bastards!

  • zenguy22

I can never forgive or forget the fact she gave aid and comfort to the enemy...

I dispise her acts of treason during the Vietnam war, If it had been during WW2 this traitor would still be in prison...

  • Sucks that you feel that way. Your reasons must be personal because your obviously very passionate about them.

I think you would be stronger to just let it go and know nothing will come of hating her AT ALL. It's a dead end street. knowone seems to realize that.

I like her. I admire anyone who has that level of guts, courage and will to stand up for thier belifes even when the world continues to crap on them.

    Therefore, I agree to disagree.

    However, best to you.

  • Hanoi Jane, this traitor was named one of the top 100 women of last century,,,in truth this B I T C H should be rotting in prison for treason.- she is scum.-

Why won't this piece of shit go live in Cuba with her buddies???

  • Why do you have so much contempt for jane? Why do you let her affect you so much?

  • Like Jane,I also like Cindy Sheehan, in spite of her not being as fond of Obama as I.

  • I loathe the fact the when people think Jane Fonda, the first thing they talk of is Vietnam. Forget her Oscers workout empire or bestselling book or screen legend father. Asinine..

  • To me it's precisely Jane Fonda's committed and courageous stance on Vietnam that allows her to transcend even her great accomplishments in film. I think of Mohammad Ali in the same way. He's considered by many the greatest athlete of the 20th century, but I think what makes him universally loved throughout the world is his firm anti-war, anti-racist stance, for which he had to pay the price when he refused to be sent to Vietnam to kill people who were not his enemy.

  • She is sooo inspirational. I read her book when I was traveling through Thailand. It was like having another close friend with me (yes I know that sounds corny!). Greetings from Wales, Jane!

  • Thank you for your comment and your right if more young people listened to jane we could possibly change what is wrong with our world and the governments that try and fail to run it

  • I'm just glad your a contrast to the right wing beer swilling war mongers jumping her case. Good on you all and great on Jane!

  • I'm only 17 and still jane fonder has changed my life and i think she is wonderful and yes she may have made mistakes but who hasn't?

I think if people can write on here honestly and say what she has done in the past she should be punished for should take a look at themselves and see what makes them so perfect and that will be hard as nobody is perfect so people need to let go she has addmitted to her mistakes and apologised for the ones she felt needed to be, so give her a brake and move on.

  • You ake a good point and it's appreciated. It's great to know that younger generations are embracing Jane and her convictions.

  • love her!

  • "Hanoi Jane is a big traitor! I love Dubya! I don't like them colored's and I drink beer in my truck and beat my woman when she get's outta line!"

These Fonda haters are a blast to laugh at!

  • I think you have serious problems to solve with your mother.

  • gusgutemberg - I don't think you have a mother - scum like you and Hanoi whore Jane Fonda just seem to multiply no matter how hard we try to rid ourself of it.

  • When you honor someone who sat on a gun turret in Vietnam and laughed at the implication, called herself a "peace activist" in her book, and virtually spat on American soldiers at the time, you are just as hypocritical as she is. How would SHE, Jane Fonda, or YOU, Chairperson of USCB, feel if someone sat on a gun after killing your child? TELL US! You've got nerve treating her as a hero. Shame on you.

  • I guess it would depend on who my child killed.

  • If you laugh on a gun turret or take sides in combat, you are not a peace activist. The mothers of those sent to Nam had little to say of their children's fate. Unlike Fonda, they weren't from a rich, sheltered family. Their sons were drafted and told what to do. Fonda told others what to do, but didn't take responsibility for others. When she says that the Vietnamese didn't torture, do you believe her? Our fascination with movie stars should stop when they lie.

  • Do you believe that we didn't torture?

  • The Vietnam war was a big mistake, but Hanoi Jane is a betrayer. It's a hanging matter - even today.

  • You short minded kid make a good action : hang yourself with your stinking socks.

  • What's going on? You half-Argentine!

  • I found her incredibly wise here - she has a new fan in me.

  • I've read Fonda's book, "My Life So Far" where she fully admits her flaws & mistakes. The biggest going to N. Vietnam & sitting on top of an anti-aircraft gun. What ever one thinks of her or her politics at least she has the honesty to admit mistakes unlike the current administration. The bigger mistake was the War. Telling Vietnam vets to get over it is harsh & does not get to the root of their pain. No more harsh than what conservatives tell blacks, Native Americans, Palestians, etc.

  • Your comments are naive. She had a communist agenda and only "admitted mistakes" when she got caught by photographers in northern Vietnam or when her movie "Stanley and Iris" was about to be shut down from protests. Stop making excuses for this liar and hypocrite. She wouldn't even let you or anyone else debate her. Cop-outs, lies and agendas are still that.

  • The Vietnam war was started to try to contain communism, just like we are starting preemptive wars today to stop terrorism. Maybe our government should focus on issues here at home and stay out of everybody elses business. It is the government that killed the soldiers, if they had never started the war than there would have been nothing for Jane Fonda to visit...fucking duh.

  • Jane Fonda has learned a very important lession in life, to move on, we all need to.

  • Fonda and Tom Hayden, the Marxist activist who would become her husband of 16 years, also organized lobbying efforts to cut off congressional funding for opposition to their friends in the communist regimes of Hanoi and the Cambodian Khmer Rouge. After funding was indeed cut off and America turned its back, the Khmer Rouge starved and murdered 1.5 million.

  • Fonda returned from Hanoi to the U.S. and reported our POWs were well treated. When the POWs later came home to tell stories of their sustained starvation diet, maltreatment and torture - real torture, not the kindergarten variety we now debate - she called them liars.

  • Here are the facts...

200,000 Vietnamese were tortured by the

    American/Saigon side.

Less than 500 Americans were tortured

    by the NVA.

The nature of the American designed torture done according to the CIA manual was far worse than anything done to US pilots. Pilots who had committed major war crimes. Point of fact John McCain was NOT tortured he got their best

medical treatment. He did radio broadcasts and was their number one prison snitch. European journalists have researched this..

  • On November 21, 1970 Fonda told a University of Michigan audience of some two thousand students, "If you understood what communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees that we would some day become communist." At Duke University in North Carolina she repeated what she had said in Michigan, adding "I, a socialist, think that we should strive toward a socialist society, all the way to communism. " Washington Times July 7, 2000
