  • Why has this got so many dislikes? I don't get it! Can someone tell me what there is to dislike about this?

  • @SuGaRuSh14 Absolutely nothing.

  • Wow that was a very nostalgic video for me personally. I lived in Rome for three and a half months, studying abroad, and I have been to many, many, many of these places, and seen the same things, and have taken similar pictures. How amazing. Thank you so much for making this video. Rome, Florence; Possibly, Venice, Todi, Toscana. I can't express it in words, but thank you so much for sharing!

  • im liking thiis video keep doing what your doing.

could you check out mine? if you like my videos you should subscribe, lol well keep up the good work and have a nice day :)

  • What fraction of a second is each photo up for? I'm trying to achieve a similar effect in iMovie.

  • Lol dick on wall at 1:44 - 1:45

  • Wow, what a perverted photographer.

  • just another way of hiding fact that your ART IS BORING AND SUCCKKS!!!!

  • I disagree I think photography is an art! And I love the song you used in your video. :) Cool pics :)

  • i got 19 sec in and i said fuck it

  • i can see by the childish comments that this people dont understand that in the end if u are asked what did u do in your life time? what will u answer be? thank for the video and the music fits the fast moving pictures thank s

  • stupid

  • This is great. The music is amazing. I just made a song on garageband for the first time today.

  • This guy obviuosly does fuck-all for a living!!

But I really like it. Very good.

    Music suits it well.

  • mine started buffering at 1:44 for a couple of minutes.

Not the best picture in the world -.-

  • Cool. Shame about the music though.

  • wow..

  • Thanks Nick your video is great, so is your channel!

  • Great concept. Superb visual experience.

  • again a question :P

Did you got inspired by Fort Minor in your Song?

Especially 4:06 . Its the same like in Fort Minor -Believe Me

  • that beat was made in garage band, not fort minor (unless he used a loop from a program that comes with every mac)

  • 2:38 ??? you were in the space?????

  • In the plane

  • in a plane idiot!!

  • Cool idea

  • The music is from Garage Band! Great! ^^

  • i LOOVVVE this video; the music's pretty awesome too!

  • Sorry, I counted only 7,376 photos, but I thought the music was great.

  • 7,375 and a half

  • do you have like, no life?

  • Judging by all the scenery, I'd have to say so.

  • Wow... WHY? and HOW LONG did that take you?

  • he is always being sarcastic :p

  • Yeah, always! (Sometimes, anyway. This time? Only 'maybe'.)

  • Maybe you blinked 2,624 times and missed them?

  • Love the string part of the song.

    And the video itself.

    5/5

  • In a way...our lives are just fleeting moments captured in our mind's eye... This is terrific!!

  • I'd have to say that the thing that I liked best about this photo is that everything is real. From the pictures that I actually viewed there was no posing involved, and everyone was out just doing their own thing. Don't know why, but things like that always cheer me up. Maybe it's because I live in a society were everyone, and everything, is fake. Even so, good job, Nick. Keep up the good work, and maybe if I ever visit someplace worth photographing, I'll make one of these.

  • Rome is such a nice city.

  • Hello !

What soft do you use to make easily a video with such a photos ?

  • Thanks a lot for your comment ! :)

  • 10.000 photos for only one year : interesting choice.

I invite you to see the contrary : only 10 photos for a life (in my video comment).

  • I forgot the title :

    A life - 10 photos in 5 min 08 sec - Gymnopedie No.1 - Satie

  • renetto's tube it song

  • Well, this one was posted 7 months before Renetto's video and was used commercially before Paul used it, so it's just a popular Garageband loop.

    :)

  • Stunning. There are no other words for the the depth and beauty

  • Freezing on individual frames is interesting. At 4:20 where there is a photo of a chalk outline of a person on the pavement some writing says "Ricercatore Letizia Indagata". What does that mean? Something about a reporter under investigation - is her name Letizia?

  • Under the website babelfish it translates to Investigator Inquired Joy

  • Interesting photos.Let me summarize, you love food & wine & meeting common people. You also love old Italian structures& manuscripts. You enjoyed the country sides and pets. However you did not spent time in the open sea other than taking snap shots from the plane.Any way its a good live.Congratulation.

  • its fun to pause it and look at individual pictures.

  • very cool photos... and interesting video

  • you are obviously residing in Italy and your photos are amazing

  • that was awesome!

  • the part in the beginning with the violins. I've heard that somewhere. can someone tell me what song its in?

  • it sounds just like believe me by fort minor

  • very interesting

  • like it! I realized 4 clips similar to yours two months ago with my music,if you want to watch them I'll be glad!

    SYMBIOLOGIC channel

  • the music is really relaxing. good job on the pictures. every one of them tells a story.

  • visual/sound treat!

    thank you :D

  • Makes me realise just how much things we see, and how little attention we pay...

  • Pretty good idea. Feels like i've been brainwashed or something!... Nice!!!

  • Oh tell me please about the music, so beautiful...

  • I really cant tell you how much I love this.

  • my eyes hurt 0.0 ~ ~

  • great video

but do all the ppl u hang out with get annoyed by u carrying around a camera and taking a pic of every little thing?

keep up the good work haha

  • And, of course, you would complain that it's too long.

  • Sheesh! You would think some of these people don't know how to use a pause button.

These pics spark my imagination about these people and places. Great work Nick!

  • great video man

  • Fighissimo davvero! troppo lungo però! RINUNZIO

  • ARE U SURE THAT ISNT UR WHOLE LIFE?

  • This truly is art. The life of a wine-taster? I think I'll have a glass myself now, to celebrate and also to plan my own tribute to this wonder of the You-Tube world!

  • A year in fast forward ! Cool !

  • Wonderful, I love it!

  • does anyone know how i can get the music from this video?

  • What a great idea. What software did you use to make this?

  • Same, I wish to know aswell, Windows Movie Maker does not hold enough pictures at once >_<

    please send me a msg

  • One year riding good wine! That's enuoght!!

  • Terrific. Great work.

  • I love this!!!!

What an amazing, creative artist you are.

    xoxo

    ~Vi

  • So atmospheric - you have a terrific life!

  • I love Italy, this is wonderful

  • Amazing !! You definately captured it :)

  • absolutely loved it.

  • I would gladly trade five of mine, for one of yours.

Thank you for sharing this with us. Truly inspiring!

  • not 10,000 photos asswipe

  • Hmmm, perhaps not 10,000 as he'd have to have 18 pictures every second. 5,000 seems far more reasonable, but I don't see why overestimating the number of photos it had makes this guy an "asswipe."

Considering the framerate that it does have, I'm impressed he still managed to tell an interesting story in a way. Very good video. Makes me wish I wasn't so young when my parents dragged me to Italy so I could have appreciated it better.

  • Silly... this is just part 1!

  • yep, and i hardly seen the night time in this video..and no sleeping..

  • it real great song when it is put to gether like this

  • you have a mac. this song was comstom created on garage band.

  • GOlly. You're a genius!

    -.-'

  • yeah mac is great. i dont have one though. i just breifly used one defore and remember this on there

  • Wow!!! Cool!!!

  • I think this would not look out of place as an art installation in a gallery.

  • Sounds like you used Garageband to make the music. the string loops are from Garageband Jam Pak 4 - nicely done.

  • Nicely done, thanks for sharing.

  • The culture looks fabulous. Not bad music either.

    Good job.

  • hey gen anaesthetic ur so gay

    1-ur gay

    2-ur really gay

3-ur mom cluckes like a chicken

    4-ur gay

  • this is so pathetic.

    1- the photos stink

2- nothing shows the passing of time

    3- they're completely unrelated shots

4- pointless and boring exercise. completely uninteresting.

  • well, why don't u make a good video and teach us the "how to"?

Oh, i'm sure ur video will get featured like this, because u know how to make it better, right?

  • your basically taking noah's idea

  • Just curious. But at what point did you think of this idea?

My assumption would be wither after or sometime during your trip. If it is the latter, did you start taking photos so they would fit into this idea.

For example, in the winery, the photos together make it seem as if they are moving, was this an intentional move on your part taking the photos?

  • I was enthralled! Thank you for sharing this. I am working on something of this nature now but it will only be of 121 days... Thank you once again. Very interesting. :)

  • why?

  • Very well done!

  • borrring

where are all the hawt beach girls

  • you have a boring life

  • how a life must be to not be boring? :)

  • welll... I don't consider being in italy as an interisting enough subject to justify 10,000 photos. I mean, did he actually see the place or just frantically photograph it?

  • very Artistic

  • Fantastic idea! Wonderful music and some exquisite photographs. I liked the effect of movement produced in places where several photographs were snapped of a moving image. I think this video would be better if at least some of the photographs moved more slowly, so that the viewer could grasp more images.

  • una bellissima foglia d'edera, poco dopo la metà

  • I needed eye-drops after watching this...I didn't want to blink and miss one photo! They were all amazing!

  • bella italia

  • i dont mind it with the speed.

song go's well with it >;)

  • the point is clearly made, but I do agree with some users that it's perhaps a bit too much; a little less speed would help make it easier to assimilate, but if you want to keep the rythm, perhaps a tad more of visual raccord would help locate the spectator and make it easier for him to follow the jump from one image/scenery/situation to the next.

    P.S. who's the song by?

  • i agree...it is a little on the fast side....i would gladly sit through the whole thing if everthing was slowed down slightly so i could process it a little bit more

  • that was awsome, i have never seen enything like it, and i couldent look away for one sec cus i wanted to see what "happend" next :)

  • too fast

  • Hi! could u please let me know what software or website did u use to create this slide show? Thanks a lot! Dima

  • Burn this onto as many CDs as you can and bury them in as many locations as possible. 5,000 years from now, someone's going to dig it up and it'll be like the Rosetta Stone of our era!

  • I really like the way this "video" is done!

You could easily find a gallery who'll show this!

  • way cool.. and that music rocks

  • Great concept.

  • One thing's for sure. Your life is much, much more interesting than mine.

  • nice video loved it there were heaps of diffrent colours every second man nice work

  • That wuz really cool!

  • That was truly awesome. The colors and just the overall theme of flipping ITALY!! Gosh, how old were you when you first got started into photography? Because.. wow. I mean.. just wow. And the music was awesome.. well mainly the parts with the string instruments.. but sha'.. Wow. You are like.. officially my new best friend.

  • What a wonderful concept. You trully live in a colouful, vibrate world. Sound track works elequantly with the images as well. Beauty can really be found in the little things can't it.

  • This is a neat idea. Very cool.

  • Damn...Looks like you get around a bit.

  • it was 9958 acctualy

  • did you seriously count them??

  • Can you say 'Headache'?

  • WOW!

i just got like really dizzy!

  • dylan fan i agree,i couldnt see anything unless i was seeing double for a day,im not even kidding

  • that was a mess that gave me a headache.

    nice pictures though.

  • you repeated the photos

  • Personally, I think if thse photos were, I dunno, INTERESTING, this might have some artistic merit.

  • WOW that was very creative u one busy guy ! that tune was ok too

  • I'm pretty sure this can give you epelepsy..

  • oh my god. i've got an awful headache now...

  • incoherent mess,irritating repetitve noise

  • Hahah! Graffiti balls at 1:44 lol.

Terrific job man. That was amazing.

    The music is excellent too.

  • its pretty confusing at first but after staring at it for awhile u can start to see whats going on and understand it... i dont know if this was done artistically but it certainly is creative... hahah nice

  • where where all the places you where going ? i know some of its in italy , was it all in italy ? and if so i've been wanting to go to italy for a while . . . would u recommend it and where would you go ? ( thats alot of questions ain't it ? )

  • That was amazing. well done.

  • actually i counted 9987 lol

  • I almost got a seizure watching this

  • watch ma vids & comment

  • O.o

  • Wow... cO

  • makes me dizzy

  • I wish I had your life.

  • wow this is cool...

  • watch ma vids & comment/rate

  • Holy dogshit at how many photos

  • this sh*tt is just confusing..

  • No nekkid pics?

  • quantity wins over quality (music is nice)

  • I haven't watched it all yet, but hope somewhere there is a pictgure of you looking at yourself in the mirror. We can't help wondering whose life we are wsatching. The music is terrific. I only hesitate to pay via my credit card. I'll think it over.

  • wubbish

  • Wierd, but something about it is cool

  • WOW i'm dizzy from all that!

  • garage band gone bad.

  • i love this!

  • Very nice, it sounds like "Qaatsi" Trilogy

  • like the garageband music! go macs

  • its sort of like a near death experience I had...the one I had before I watched it...but yes somehow its captivating...like watching the makers near death experience

  • to think you shot that whole thing in Detroit....

  • damn this vid is soooo tripy (lmao)

  • WTF? Why would any gallery show this again?

  • *sigh* these pics have nothing to do with each other

to hard to tell whats going on or get any meaning for this.

  • you really have to go out there. to see the world or else if you dont same room over & over that what you'll see time go so fast and enjoy life. remember just give a little love and it will come back to you.

  • music is from garage band right? haha

  • Lovely

  • PLEASE DON'T READ THIS. You will get kissed on the nearest possible Friday by the love of your life. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life. However, if you don't post this comment to at least 3 videos, you will die within 2 days. Copy and paste this, to be saved.. but ya i loooove this song so much

  • wow that was actually really cool! great photos!

  • the chorus to the song sounds like the song from Fort minor

  • yeah, I think he made the song in garageband

  • I made pretty much the same one on my video... but i like it more.

  • ya it does sound like Believe Me.

  • Very beautiful, made me smile. The music goes so well with it; I love it.
