  • veganism/vegetarians rule /watch?v=WWMnscY04AY"

  • FUCK YOU VEGAN PUSSIES!!!!! i was vegan for 2 years and got really weak and ill EVEN THOUGH i ate all of my protein!!!!! FUCK YOU GO DO AN ANIMAL U FUCKING ASSWIPES!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @outofthisworldherps That's because you can't digest semen protein. U mad?

  • @beyondbukshot I've never heard of the "bibel." That's a really interesting name hmm... You know, if you spoke grammatically correct, people might take you more seriously.

  • @IRACORKMAN not sure if trolling, or just very stupid.

  • Its really easy to become vegan, at least for me! Its way harder to quit smoking:/

  • I love eating meat ^^ and if it were legal ide eat all of you too ^^

  • Shouldn't it be spelled "would" instead of "wud"?

  • i'm NOT a vegan, but i do live a raw food lifestyle. i have to admit that not eating animal products makes me feel better and look better, but honestly.. i don't think the world is going to stop eating meat because vegans want them to. yeah, everyone is free to voice their own opinions, but the reality of it is, people are selfish and are going to keep eating meat.. it is what it is. i admire that vegans have the money and time to go around about it all, but like i said.. it is what it is.

  • @finneyfaery 2things: how can you not be vegan if you live a raw food lifestyle?

and why should it be more expensive and timetaking to be vegan? you as a raw food eater should know

  • I have been a vegetarian for almost 4 months, from the inspiration of River Phoenix, I love it so much, I am pretty strict about it to. Like I'll only drink soy milk and I eat alot of soy cheese and ice cream and I love veganaise! And hardly ever eat eggs, and when I do witch is rare for me, I have to have local vegan fed eggs. I am working on Veganism though, I hope to be a full vegan in a couple years :)

  • @ohsuckitup2 Yay, good for you! :) And I know you've probably already heard this, but I'll mention it anyway: going vegan is not as hard as it sounds. I thought I would miss cheese so much - I loved it - and I don't, not one bit.

I highly recommend checking out the Vegan Pandamonium site for some inspiration - excellent recipes! :) Hope that makes things easier when you decide to make the switch.

  • I didn't know most of the B-52s were vegetarian! One of my fave bands, so exciting!

Mind you, as an ethical vegan, I don't think lacto-ovo vegetarianism is superior to being non-veg, unless you consume less total animal products (which might be the case). So a non-veg who eats meat or fish once a week does better than a veg who eats milk and cheese everyday... Dairy + eggs are just as cruel as meat.

  • I turned vegeterian 3 months ago and I havent looked back ! I have tried a lot of Vegan food and have to say I was very surprised by the variety on offer and the flavour !

  • @cowboykenny21 cool, good for you...

  • i've been a vegetarian for almost 4 years.. not vegan though ): but i dont drink milk haha

  • Wow this is so retro! And Uri was right, I am vegan from now! Except that was already the case.

  • your body will respect you for your wisdom, the animals will love you for your compassion.... Beautiful

  • Do you not understand that vegans value animals EQUALLY?

You are calling us "nazis" because you are being a nazi towards animals in our opinion...

Do you not see the futility in arguing when our morality (for better or "worse") is fundamentally deferent?

  • freaky...

  • I have yet to find a good reason to be a vegan.

  • "people on a low-protein, low-calorie diet had considerably lower levels of a plasma growth factor called IGF-1 than equally lean endurance runners," says Luigi Fontana, M.D., Ph.D., assistant professor of medicine at Washington University and an investigator at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità in Rome, Italy. "That suggests to us that a diet lower in protein may have a greater protective effect against cancer than endurance exercise, independently of body fat"

  • chris you misread that study big time.

  • i love this so much. i wish this was used as a commercial every single day.

  • lmao i luv uri gella at the end hahaha

  • Why are you here at a pro vegan site harassing us and calling US nazi's when explained above that YOU are a nazi type that loves to abuse and supports a inhumane and abuse for food. YOU have no right to come to these sites and pour your poison here also. It is bad enough that people like you exist in the first place. Many vegans don't even eat soy so your point is MOOT. Your lifestyle is killing millions of humans and animals. Now go somewhere that you won't look like an idiot if is possible.

  • Hey Einstein~oh no Einstein was a vegetarian. YOU call me a Nazi when you DIRECTLY support a prison situation and worse via factory farming. If you have ever seen a holocust situation as a animal who is imprisoned in horrible conditions, inhumane rotting in their own waste until they are used up and then are killed in the most inhumane way and then you say you like to eat meat? YOU are the Nazi. Fact. Every meal I eat is a compassionate one. I don't hurt an animal ever YOU are a NAZI type.

  • I can see by your spelling that you are not highly educated and also by your words you are not the brightest person. Can you tell me the last time you caught an animal with your teeth and ate it raw like the carnivores that non-human animals do? Our teeth and bodies are not made for eating meat. That is a fact and if you don't respect my words than educate yourself on the fact that we are meant to be herbivores. Just because we have teeth that are called canine teeth that doesn't make it right

  • Vegans are people who were dropped on their heads as babies. They place the value of a dumb animal's life on the same level as a human's just because it is "cute". They think eating animals is inhumane when they obviously don't realize animals themselves hunt and kill. These people are as ignorant and naive and should not be allowed to have children.

  • If you feed your children meat that is child abuse. You are killing your children with cancer, heart disease and many other illnesses. You are teaching your children hate and abuse. You are the child abuser!

  • Meat causes cancer and all diseases in humans. IF you feed your children meat and fast food you are a child abuser. There is a new law that is in effect NOW that all the fast food places must put on the chicken that it causes cancer. Burger King already does this. You are very uneducated and have no right to speak and put your ignorance for everyone to see and laugh at. Vegans are compassionate and are of higher minds. It is very hard for us to deal with complete idiots like yourself.

  • "animals themselves hunt and kill"

    Cows.

  • Off course I am.

Claro que sou Vegan! poderia ser diferente?

  • All vegans add me.

  • vegan : yes of course!

  • how cool

  • O River I miss you! Great video!

  • See what eating meat does to you? Your mind becomes lame.

  • You = The intellect of a stone

  • haha you've never saw me,know me or know of my capabilities to state that. How does it feel, for you,to be payin' bullying tyrants to mutilate and slaughter born beings? Give you a proud feelin'? P.S. I don't consider animals "food" for them to be on the "food chain". For myself,i'm neither "food" myself to be on the "bottom of the food chain".

  • you may find this funny, but if your car engine ignites i will think you got what you deserved, all im saying!

  • @CathyAnxiety So, you think humans are at the top of the food chain? Try telling that to the relatives of people who've been eaten by animals such as sharks, lions, etc. Vegans are not bottom of the food chain. There is no 'chain'.

Also, since you're being so nasty, here's a question for you: How do it feel to have a far greater risk of many illnesses such as diabetes, high cholesterol levels and heart disease?

  • @marcluc1988 Speak to any zoologist or biologist and they will tell you there definitely is a food chain, more specifically a food web, in which animals eat other animals or plants. Plants and bacteria are at the bottom and we are at the top. 3-4 humans may die from sharks every year, but that is nothing compared to the hundreds of sharks we kill every year. So, in all, we are definitely at the top of the food chain, nature has given us the right to command all below us.

  • @joe848484 Also, I'm not really sure how eating meat or dairy products would lead to diabetes.... If you could share this with me, that would be fantastic. I would blame increased rate of diabetes (in America at least) to high fructose corn syrup, since it decreases insulin production.

  • @joe848484 People always refer to it as a food "chain" or "web", yes this is so. But then humans refer to themselves as "on top". On top of what? Now it's sounding more like a food pyramid. Humans are more seperate and outside the food system than any other creature on the planet.

  • @101101101777 No other species has influenced the planet in the way we do, so I understand the feeling you have of us being outside the food web. However, we do eat, and that puts us in the food web. Being the dominant species we are makes us "on top" of the food web. We are not a large part of any species' diet, yet eat an extremely large variety of foods compared to other animals.

  • You = The intellect of a two month old rancid diseased piece of excrement.

  • Being vegan allows me to be consistent with my values. I don't wish to exploit any mearly because I have "might"..... I'm happier and healthier on a plant based diet-

    Go Vegan!

  • Funny, his children look FAR healthier than the great majority of children who consume the Standard American Diet (aka SAD) which is loaded with meat and dairy products.

I suggest that you learn about the extraordinary health benefits of feeding children a well balanced vegan diet. Humans can, and do, thrive healthfully on a plant based diet and do not "require" animal products to survive. A vegan diet is healthy for humans of all ages, it's better for the environment and the animals.

  • Good video. This helps give a sense of community. Thanks.

  • Great video!!!

  • Great video!!!

  • Great video!! I am already a vegan. :)

  • Haha, excellent. If I wasn't vegan already I think Uri Gellar would have converted me there with his jedi mind tricks lol

  • Didnt know about River Phoenix activism or his brother continuing his work.(read more in Wikipedia) I saw Earthlings, but didn't make the connection until now. Uri Geller's funny, hope his hypnosis works.lol

  • Any posting of well known vegans is always great. If your already a vegan obviously it's not intended for you per say. It's to inform the carnivores on how to live by a moral code instead of their unethical and unhealthy eating way's. There are a lot of body builders who are vegan and there are some vegans who are heavy or medium(just right). That vid didn't just show very thin people Mr. rr1sportrider. Meat eaters will always make excuses to keep their murderous ways.

  • Ha ha ha ha when is this from, like the late 80s??? Flash back or what!! LOL

  • hmmm not sure when. to hazard a guess:mid 90s?

  • 1993 at the latest, since River Phoenix speedballed himself into oblivion then. Some pretty awesome celeb opinions. :-)

  • hahaha ow our animal brothers and sisters, helps on the way

  • LOL.. this is awesome.

  • So he doesn'¡t just bend spoons then! Nice one;-)
