In 1985 I was riding in my Chevy Monza (lol) flipping channels on my radio and heard this song. When I got home I called the radio station and described the song to the dude who answered the phone. He told me who it was and I immediately went to the Sound Warehouse and bought the ALBUM. I've been a BC fan ever since.
my translation of thelyrics: my mind is no longer limber I'm yearning for you you will bring it to me hold on to my trucks (my companies? my shield?) I will lay down on you. Older than the sea my ray is key. my sire is white the lads are watching out for me.
Simon Kirke & Boz Burrell were a bad-ass rhythm section, one of the greatest. Simon got such a massive sound and such a solid, tight groove with his drumkit. A major influence on me over the years. Thanx, guys!
Paul Rogers has always been my favorite singer, just a unique voice kind of like James Dewar of Robin Trower fame. Sounds hoarse and strained but nails every nuance and note. Just an opinion from an old guy, but I grew up in the '70's(high School class of '78) and remember when these songs were new.

Lady gaga? she's a joke, and had there been a facebook or my space or whatever following she has, im sure Bad Co. when enjoy the same if not better popularity. ROCK ON PAUL RODGERS!

I go back to that night... thanks, M... sexy lady... and thank you bad co...

It is not just a logo. It was their 1st album. I agree! They could not have done it better! And kiddies, back then most songs they recorded during that time they were all in the room playing at the same time. Not seperately like they do now. I truly think that the songs that were made with everyone in the room feeling the same vibe at the same time made the songs sound better. I have everyone of Bad Company's albums ( yes records not CD's) and they sure sound great!
Freaking A....a true rock classic. Paul's vocals, and the guitar work, plus the bass line. A winner. I believe my ears are on fire. Yeah, they're burnin'....
My favorite Bad Co song. When Led Zeppelin wanted to start their own record label, they formed Swan Song records. Bad Company was the first band they signed. Jimmy Page knew talent when he heard it.
1 minute ago My favorite Bad Co song. This was the first band that the record label Swan Song signed. (Swan Song was founded by Led Zeppelin, so they could have more control over how their albums were released.) Jimmy Page knew talent when he heard it.
Bad Company, Heart, Van Halen, Toto, Aerosmith, Electric Light Orchestra, Queen, Foghat. Too many awesome bands to list them all, but we had them growing up in the 70s. I am waiting for someone to invent the Time Machine so I can go back to this awesome era.

If you're not down with Paul Rodgers - go to hell and die! This is one of the few songs in that era that is perfect on every level.

Yea the 70's were the best and the 80's was next to the best.

My favorite Bad Co song. When Led Zeppelin wanted to start their own record label, they formed Swan Song records. Bad Company was the first band they signed. Jimmy Page knew talent when he heard it.
