  • @Criomorph Dude, relax. I am 41(born in 70) and I still wish I was born earlier to experience the 60's. BUT, with this digital age, we can enjoy it. With youtube we can see it. Truly amazing what this technology can do man.

  • i totally agree bad company is the shit! miss the good ole days! wish i could go back!!!

  • YEAH...Bad Company is the shit! ...Never a bad show....lot of grand times with this trak blowing my mind. . .

  • Wow.all these hateful comments...Geez why do people feel the need to bitch about everything. I thought this was for enjoying the music....my bad.

  • great song from the master,,paul rodgers can sing anything,,he,s been doing it all his life,,he was born to sing,,he still sounds great,

  • I've traveled around the world many, many times..FREEDOM IS NOT FREE..IT'S PAID FOR IN BLOOD...A big thanks to all you Vets out there..As for the ones bitching get the fuck out of America if you're unhappy....bad ass old man

  • @TomCrutchfield1

their not fighting for our freedom.we are free, were freeing other people from their own countries government. no one is coming here on american soil taking our freedom. I dont understand when people say the soldiers are fighting for our freedom. We have freedom already....money and religion is the root of all wars.

  • In 1985 I was riding in my Chevy Monza (lol) flipping channels on my radio and heard this song. When I got home I called the radio station and described the song to the dude who answered the phone. He told me who it was and I immediately went to the Sound Warehouse and bought the ALBUM. I've been a BC fan ever since.

  • Paul rogers is the band, tried it without him and bomb he came back and they are rocking again!

  • 6 people smoked entirely too much "shwag" and clicked the wrong tab. LOL

  • my translation of thelyrics: my mind is no longer limber I'm yearning for you you will bring it to me hold on to my trucks (my companies? my shield?) I will lay down on you. Older than the sea my ray is key. my sire is white the lads are watching out for me.

  • Search "burning skies"

    Get Linkin Park

    FUCK

  • Actually, Bad Company probably doesn't own it either. ;)

  • The sky is burning... I believe my soul's on fire EPIC!

  • Simply put one of the best rock bands EVER!!!!!!!! None of the crap out today even comes close!!!!!!!

  • @bill64able you said it, bill...sad to day, but them days are gone:(

  • They are awesome!

  • genial und melodisch hatte schon immer was

  • Simon Kirke & Boz Burrell were a bad-ass rhythm section, one of the greatest. Simon got such a massive sound and such a solid, tight groove with his drumkit. A major influence on me over the years. Thanx, guys!

  • paul rodgers rocks

  • One of the best groups ever.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE BAd company. :)

  • Paul Rogers has always been my favorite singer, just a unique voice kind of like James Dewar of Robin Trower fame. Sounds hoarse and strained but nails every nuance and note. Just an opinion from an old guy, but I grew up in the '70's(high School class of '78) and remember when these songs were new.

  • Saudi Arabia, 1991, when the Patriots were shooting down Scuds, the sky was burning...and I couldn't get this song out of my head. No fear, just awe. Total body orgasm.. America rocks!!!

  • @oldcolonel13 Very glad you made it back safe you did that job well i had family there , anyways take care

  • @ladyhogan80 Thank you, and the best life is the one that places the welfare and safety of others above one's self. Honored to serve.

  • Man, you thinking killing middle eastern civilians rocks?

  • @LTDGuitars420 Perhaps you have forgotten, but after destroying Kuwait and committing untold atrocities, the Iraqis were firing the Scuds at us, the Saudis, Israelis and other Allies. Far from killing civilians, we were protecting them, and ourselves. That rocks.

  • Oh, the big scary Iraqis? Get fuckin real dude, where the the strongest military force fighting against one of the weakest. We send people into the middle east for one reason, to steal oil. Are you familiar the horrifying acts committed in several parts of Africa? When was the last time you heard about the us attacking them? We never have. Why? Because they have no oil or valuable resources. You're a bumpkin hoosier, "America rocks". Yes, because we can blow up poverty stricken countries, we rock

  • @LTDGuitars420 Apologize for being an American if you like...in six years of combat in 4 countres it was never necessary for me to do so. It was my honor to serve you, too. I just came here for the music.

  • You didn't serve shit friend, war never does anything for anybody. It makes people money, that's it.

  • @LTDGuitars420 and the fact that they got 7 suit case nukes from russia floating around over there

  • @LTDGuitars420 I could`nt agree more. Good comment.

  • @1BigCREE1Redtail I'm 54 and remember this group...my first boyfriend, orange charger and an 8 track...what memories

  • @1Carrice Funny how these songs bring back all the smells, sights and past loves, tastes and all!! Yes indeed! This was good stuff!!

  • @oldcolonel13 calm down "hero" will ya

  • @torstn War has no heroes, just survivors. But then those who answer the call to serve others might be called heroes? Think about it, or ask a Kuwati.

  • 1979, solder field, chicago,il. when these guys took the stage, they opened with this tune. to this day i still get goose bumps when it starts. this is when it was about the music, not the green!!

Lady gaga? she's a joke, and had there been a facebook or my space or whatever following she has, im sure Bad Co. when enjoy the same if not better popularity. ROCK ON PAUL RODGERS!

  • Great me on top song....

  • back in the mid 70's... late one night after work... as we got more and more mellow... she slowly danced... as I sat back in that round wicker chair... and watched her slowwwly grind to this sexy beat... over & over she played this song... man,... one. of. the. best. nights. of. my. life... every time I hear this song... when the thunder crashes... I go back to that night... thanks, M... sexy lady... and thank you bad co...

  • @Leemanwentz Sounds awesome man! Do you think any morons are going to have memories like that with Lady Gaga or Blink 182? You can't beat the music of the 50s, 60s and 70s! Kick ass tune!

  • This song sets my soul on fire.

  • ... true funk-rock.

  • awsome song

  • @1BigCREE1Redtail Or employees if the record companies lol.

  • @85Funkadelic That too, sadly.

  • One of the best vocals and lyrics in rock music!!!!

  • Thanks..Burning Sky!! WAY ahead of the game, and with the talent still alive they and them continue to produce ..No names necessary. A major Fan..

  • The drummer is hypnotic

  • bad co. was to led zeppelin what the monkees were to the beatles.

Please don t take that the wrong way I love them but they were never as big as zep but still pretty fucking big.

  • Great tune from one of the best bands ever and certainly one of the best vocalist ever! Thanks for the post.

  • wrong album cover, this is cover is from the 1st album. this tune was from the Burnin' Sky album which was the group's 4th album not their 1st album I know because I have all 4.

  • @CaprForevr And that's the best thing you can come up with to post about this great music?

  • @CaprForevr Who gives a shit if it's the wrong album cover? This song kicks major ass!

  • @CaprForevr -True. But u know what, this song should have been on that first album because it fits so well with the whole style record. In fact, I would have taken off "The Way I Choose" and put this one instead.

  • Cruisin in the 72 Chevelle.....windows down, music LOUD, and Bad Co....mm, mm, mm...those WERE the days... my, my, how I miss 'em :)

  • the one thing i love about my boyfriend is that he looks like exactly like Mick Jagger did when he was young except for the eye color and hair color.

  • @warrant1fan ..Well shit, I bet he's just "simply dreamy".

  • BC underratted? These guys were huge and got lots of airplay all over the USA. I listened to them daily for about 5 years running, 75 thru 80. Every party I went to played them as much as they played Led Zepplin, Van Halen, or Lynyrd Skynyrd. BC was top shelf.

  • my boyfriend can play the drums to the song!

  • Seriously underrated.

  • @realityright Not underrated by me.

  • kickass

  • Really....Pual was at his peak but......real men know whats up.......kill it baby,......

  • Comment removed

  • @yarekhunt same name, burnin sky

  • takes me back to a time when music was great

  • surprisingly good stoner music.

  • Can someone please, please, PLEASE tell me where I can get my hands on a bass tab for this?

  • @edctgbujm123 google? should only take a few minutes to find some free tabs.

  • @GameF0x Been there, can't find anything.

  • I find it hard to believe this song only made 78 on the billboard charts. Its amazing!!

  • Burns right into my soul!!!

  • You could have great bands like this - but it would require dressing like a rockstar, NOT staring at your shoes, and having the balls to be an entertainer. Not a downer.

And, leaving the whole, 'ironic-being a rockstar is uncool, playing your instrument well is uncool' dynamic behind.

I still say today's 15-yr.-olds would rather go to a 1984 Van Halen concert.

    They would too.

  • @Nacho66 Extremely well put...lolol!

  • What's happen to today's music? Why can't we get great bands like this? Why can't we get great music like this anymore? I'm so glad I was growing up in the 70"s to be part of it. ROCK ON!!!!

  • @sunnymanpr ...sadly, its all about fluff, not stuff. Appearance prevails over substance. But, we were lucky enough to witness a great generation of artists, before the age of superficiality. Rock on.

  • Wrong album cover but great song. This song was on their Running with the Pack album.

  • @45ShelBell I believe the album cover was used to express that Bad Company did the song.

  • @45ShelBell Actually this song was on the "Burnin Sky" album which came out about a year later than Running with the Pack.

  • What a groove,and vocal!

  • What a groove,and vocal!

  • i beleive my souls on fire..

  • who are the 2 idiots who dislike this song? you have to be kidding..

  • @SIERRAHPBT I believe you hit it right on the nose ... "idiots" being the operative word...

    Peace, AHA :o].

  • Ist und bleibt einfach starke Musik. Ja die Jungs von Bad Co hatten es einfach drauf.

    Gruß...Wolle

  • BEST VOCALS EVER!!! NOBODY COMES CLOSE.

  • I still love it. Love it more on each listen.

  • that guitar in back sounds exactly like a fire burning and it is FKN COOL!!!

  • This song, is simply badass.

  • It is not just a logo. It was their 1st album. I agree! They could not have done it better! And kiddies, back then most songs they recorded during that time they were all in the room playing at the same time. Not seperately like they do now. I truly think that the songs that were made with everyone in the room feeling the same vibe at the same time made the songs sound better. I have everyone of Bad Company's albums ( yes records not CD's) and they sure sound great!

  • Freaking A....a true rock classic. Paul's vocals, and the guitar work, plus the bass line. A winner. I believe my ears are on fire. Yeah, they're burnin'....

  • In a way, this is an homage to "Smoke on the Water".

  • the year I graduated High School,, what music back then the late 60's and 70's

  • havent heard this in ages!

  • This is the best song ever performed by bad company, they could'nt have made it any better

  • @Dunkleosteus9 this is from the album burning sky

  • Paul Rogers voice is one of rocks most powerful....love bad co

  • I cannot count all the cassettes of Bad Company I wore out.....if u do not love them u do not know how to rock steady too.

  • is this a new release?

  • If you're not down with Paul Rodgers - go to hell and die! This is one of the few songs in that era that is perfect on every level.

  • Yea the 70's were the best and the 80's was next to the best.

  • Two people have no respect for real, genuine, passionate music.

  • My favorite Bad Co song. When Led Zeppelin wanted to start their own record label, they formed Swan Song records. Bad Company was the first band they signed. Jimmy Page knew talent when he heard it.

  • Comment removed

  • Great F-ing song...I miss the 70's.

  • Bad Company, Heart, Van Halen, Toto, Aerosmith, Electric Light Orchestra, Queen, Foghat. Too many awesome bands to list them all, but we had them growing up in the 70s. I am waiting for someone to invent the Time Machine so I can go back to this awesome era.

  • @Dunkleosteus9 Burnin' Sky 1977.. It was a go
