@papan1990 Exactly, private jet seats... Singapore 380 first blows any private jet seat out of the water and could cost you the same. Then, the range of a G5 is 10, 000 km while A380 is 16, 000km. And you won't get faster. G5 cruise top speed is 900 kph and the A380 is almost 1000 kph.

I know, 20 g's for a round flight sounds just insane, but then again this is the FIRST CLASS of the classes. If you got the money, go for it

I don't know how many people pay full price for first class, but I doubt it's very many. Singapore Airlines is a member of Star Alliance, so you can use status/points to get a free or cheap upgrade to first. It probably wouldn't cost you more than $1-2k, and that's not much more than full price in economy.

Either way.. I saw the seat and thought 'ahh, that's pretty standard', then the camera panned and I realised it was an actual compartment with a double bed and an LCD tv on the wall. Better than alot of people's actual bedrooms.

Shame really that most normal people will never get to experience it. Why do rich people need that? Why not just a bigger seat? The longest you can fly is about 13 hours at once anyway.

Every other first class has a seat that turns into a rather comfortable bed. Singapore Airlines decided that this was cheating and not quite kosher with the stress of international business. Before I could answer, the plane hit a sudden rough air and she lost her balance and fell forward toward me. I managed to catch her fall - our faces were literally within an inch contact. I caught a scent of her perfume. I asked her name to see if she was ok, she smiled and apologized.
