@disciplesofthecross No, God doesn't lie. So stop making a cult out of this one verse. Man can refuse to walk with God. That would be their choice. You really don't make sense to me.
@tlthe5th What part of "they shall NEVER perish" don't you understand? It is impossible to become unborn again. You cannot possibly undo something supernatural that the Holy Spirit did within your spirit at the time of conversion. You cannot "walk away" from the Spirit of God who lives in your body. We are SEALED by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption. (Ephesians 4:30) - sealed (GREEK) sphragizō: 1) to set a seal upon, mark with a seal. a) for security.
I address this in my other videos. have you ever been born again? saved? what were you saved from? and what were the conditions of salvation? repentance? and if you turn your back on God, yes, you can be twice dead according to Jude and also worse off than the beginning as told us in the parable of the demon who was cast out and walked around in dry places and came back with more demons, and MANY other verses. as i said, you take one verse and turn it into a cult. bye now
READ Hebrews 10:25...it is referring to forsaking the faith, not being perfect and never sinning again. "He who says he has no sin is a liar and the truth is not in him."
@2Bonita08 John also goes on to say "he who sinneth is of the devil" hmmm, how to we reconcile this together without making the Word of God look contradictory. Very simple. The answer is in 1 John 5:16, 17 There is a sin UNTO death and there is a sin NOT unto death. This lines up with the whole bible. He is talking about willfully sinning against God verses sinning in ignorance. The willful sins are "sins unto death". I hope this helps you out so you stop making Christians look contradictory.
Peace, If we transgress(sin) one law of moses we transgress all of it. Making the word of god of none effect. After being saved me and you will sin, but we must repent and not all sin leads to death john 5:17. Sins against god will be forgiven, but denial of who he is is not forgivable as there can be no faith on him(answer to rev) We are saved by grace as a free gift. God cant steal a gift. We can give it back or reject it, but thats not what you meant is it? Yah bless
@modernrocks "We can give it back or reject it, but thats not what you meant is it?" Yes it is what I mean and have stated almost verbatim in this comment section..
@modernrocks I'm not sure I understand you. the christian "walks" with God until the day of his death. Unless they turn their back on God which a man can do at any point. God says a christian will go through a lot of things during his life. there's persecutions, chastening, trials and tribulations and all kinds of tests. We are warned throughout scripture that we must endure it all until the end. I dont really understand your comments. are you trying to make a point?
@tlthe5th No i thought you was trying to make a point in your video. I thought you were trying to debunk OSAS, but your comments have shown you support it. From what you have said, we can get saved and hold on to salvation. Thus you have proved OSAS is very possible, in fact i think you have shown it is maybe the only way to be saved. Thanks.
@digishell Prov 16:6 "By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil." It takes the fear of God to straighten out. Pray for Wisdom which is fear of God (Job 28:28)
@tlthe5th Well I have a verse for you: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.—1 John 1:7-9 You are a false teacher...be careful what you say, you can only REJECT your salvation, you cannot LOSE it.
@digishell I'm a false teacher? Is that right? I know what the verse you quoted means. I don't think you do though. No, I'm not a false teacher. But you're a false accuser. The "sins" John is talking about are the ones we realize as we walk in the light and walk with God. We will realize that we sinned sometimes. Not sins like Adultery etc But realizing we erred someplace. Then if we confess God forgives. You are very quick to speak. That is wrong. Be quick to hear, slow to speak...
So you are saying once we accept Jesus, and then continue to sin after we accept him, our salvation is lost? Now that you are a Christian, you live a completely sin free life? I may as well just give up, since I sin every day. I know better, but some days I still lie, or get angry. I guess salvation is only reserved for the sinless born again Christians. According to your video God will tell me he never knew me. I thought our salvation didn’t come from works, but by grace, I guess I was wrong.
@digishell Read the epistles of John, he who sins is of the devil. but there's a difference between willfully sinning and sinning in ignorance. a lot of people believe they are Christians but never truly met Jesus. they are religious. And sinners. Jesus came to give us power over sin. That is the good news. Have you ever heard the true gospel of Christ my friend? that we have victory over the devil through Christ? 1John1:7
I have recently argued with people who have supported works based salvation, earning it by obedience or doing something including law and other works..which is umbilical
yet at the same time i do realize that once someone gets saved then there is nothing further they can do for salvation..its done..but after that there is a life of testing growing temptation and so forth we are are not contending for salvation
but sttriveing for the christian life and making sure we dnt fall out of it .
@frank0067 you said, "but sttriveing for the christian life and making sure we dnt fall out of it ." Okay, and what if you do "fall out of it"?
Aren't you yourself preaching "works" by saying that "...making sure we dnt fall out of it"? As I said to someone else tonight, "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" Amos 3:3. There are people who turn their backs on God. He promises to do the same to them. "...if we deny him, he also will deny us:" 2 Tim 2:12
not by what i do but what he did. by his stipes i am saved.that no man may boast.confess with his mouth, believe in his heart..any man that says he is without sin is a liar and the truth is not in him..he who is without sin throw the 1st stone ..all of romans..faith is works.. by rejecting which is blasphemy of the holy spirit by this you knownly willingly lose your salvation.............................that is the only way.....other then that we ALL fall short.. satan knownly rejected God..
@shanealan4161 we fell short BEFORE we met Christ. Have you met the Son of God my friend? Are you born again? Have you felt the blood of Jesus wash away your sins? Did you receive power as God promises in His word? Then you are still just a sinner who is religious and thinks he is saved. I pray you really meet Jesus. If you knew Him you would know we cannot sin against Him and enter heaven. John was talking about sins of ignorance. Or going astray. Not belligerence against God.
@Ignatius1125 Remember demons believe in God because they’ve seen Him. But believing in God doesn't save anyone, It also takes believing that Jesus died for all our sins. This is where the demons fall short. Belief is the only requirement for salvation. If a believer chooses to live a fruitless life, then they will suffer loss, both here and in eternity, but they will still be saved. because It's the sincere prayer of faith that saves us, not our efforts to be good afterward. 1 Cor 3:10-15
@coolmamac we have to realize that people get angry at God. they don't understand why they have to go through tribulation. They end up cursing God and blaspheming Him. This is a reality. The Bible says it can happen. People get offended with the Christian life. Didnt Jesus tell us these things in parables? ie the seed falling on stony ground springing up too fast and it burned and withered in the sun? Mark chapter 4 KJV
Hebrews 5:8-10 And whereas indeed he was the Son of God, he learned obedience by the things which he suffered: [9] And being consummated, he became, to all that obey him, the cause of eternal salvation. [10] Called by God a high priest according to the order of Melchisedech.
@Ignatius1125 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, [and] doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked [man] doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?
@xhemexx tlthe is right. No scriptures say that if a person departs from the faith, he was never saved to begin with. In fact, it's ONLY those who once HAD the true faith that can ever depart FROM the faith. If someone departs from Atlanta, he had to BE in Atlanta at one point. You can't depart from a place you never once were.
Preach the Word! :) Matthew 21:43...Taken from You! Matthew 24:13...Endure! Matthew 8:12...Cast Out! Luke 8:13...Fall Away! John 6:66... Turn Away! John 15:10...If! 1 John 2:24...Remain in You! Acts 3:19...Blotted Out! 1 Timothy 4:1...Depart! 1 Corinthians 10:12...Fall Romans 11:20,21,22,23 Broken Off Spare Not Which Fell Cut Off Again (came back) Hebrews 10:38,39... Draw Back! Revelation 2:5...I will come to you Quickly & Removed your candlestick! Revelation 3:11...Hold Fast!
Acts 2:38 Sums it all up in a nutshell! The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Death, burial, and resurrection on of Jesus Christ. When guilty sinners asked what shall we do to be saved? (Acts 2:37-38) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
@praizingHIM The True Name of Christ is YHWH not Jesus. The Letter J has only been in existence since the 1200s. It did not exist 2000 years ago so it was impossible for his name to be Jesus. The Holy Ghost shall save a person...not the person save himself. The Holy Ghost shall baptize you in the Name of YHWH and he shall baptize you with a fire and the Holy Ghost will use your body to speak the True Gospel of Christ and then...the end shall come.
Brother UR absolutely right. Eternel salvation is a big fat lie with Biblical foundation. Many people will realize that deception, but latter because they will standing up in front of the Son of God to give account to their sinful life. The Bible said that who shall prevail until the end, shall be saved. So, whoever call himself Christian must live like Jesus; in holiness.
I never thought once saved always saved.I knew I was right. I think I was saved at one time, but then slipped back to being not saved. If all I did was give up my partying & stuff.I'd be ok. I wish I could still party & be saved.
If saved always saved, Why would Jesus tell us to pray always that we might be accounted worthy to escape the wrath to come? He that shall endure until the end. Colossians 1:23. Timothy 4:1-3. Hebrews 3:12, 4:1, 10:26. There's so many more. But you don't have to fall. Jude 1:24. Matthew 24:13, 24:48-51, 25th chapter. These virgins all had oil at one time, but five of them let their oil or Holy Ghost run out. Their lamps were gone out. Stay filled with God's presence. God bless you all! U right!
Thanks for the videos Thomas, you are doing great work and winning people to God. I felt in my heart i was saved, changes were made in my spirit, in my thoughts attitudes and desires, and then i fell away. The Hebrews passage has had a profound effect on me because now i know i'm fucked and cannot be renewed again. All I have to live for is the temporary satisfaction of my earthly sins before i burn. Lifes a bitch eh?
@tlthe5th I converse a great deal with others about faith. I was sincere in my questions. This is a topic I have not thought too much about but stumbled acrossed it while browsing videos last night. My name is from when I used to play video games. Something I gave up a long time ago. Having kids and being a father takes up most of my effort and makes games seem silly. Perhaps I should set up a new name. I'm disappointed in our conversation. I expected more from a brother in the faith.
The verse from Matthew 12:43-45 refers to an unclean spirit leaving and being replaced with seven more wicked...I don't get how this relates to Once Saved Always Saved. Please clarify. In Hebrews 10:26 I'm a bit confused too; "If we sin WILLFULLY after we have received knowledge of the truth", I thought this refered to the non-believer whom had been told the truth but denied it and willfully went on sinning. Am I wrong here?
Yahuah of hosts, I acknowledge you as King of the Universe, and that you by your mercy give sanctuary to me , for I have fallen from your heart. I believe in the sacrifice of the Prophets, your human form, and the Aramaic salvation of your Gospel, given to Yahuahshua.
Teach me Rabbai, I beg you, for I am lost in the wilderness of the wicked.
So be it.
HallEluYah Ha Shem Yahuah, kia duah seer Yahuahsadaq, bowa Yahuah, bowa Yahuah empia universa.
Because someone "grows up" in a church is no assurance of salvation, indeed I have seen many "forced" confessions of "faith" in children and adults that for sure were not the reception of (as Paul says) the revelation of Christ.
Only the father can draw, only the spirit can save. This is a miracle, no flesh can attain to this.
I believed in that for years. but my eyes were opened to the truth. praise God. once the truth was revealed to me, the part where it says about the road being narrow and few will find it made total since. i understood it. God calls us to be like Jesus. we will fall but we will be forgiven. we are to pick up our cross daily. All you see is how to accept Jesus and that is the most important choice you will ever make.. but it doesnt stop there! Its a daily walk.
I agree but I've a question, what about a person who grew up in church and got out into 'the world' and has realized the truth and wants to be back with the truth, the saving grace and Love of God? A backslider.
i would never be able to go inside this person and understand what God has clearly showed her and what God has not clearly showed her in the Word of God. we are only accountable for what we have been given. the Lord stated he who was given much shall much be required Luke 12:48. only will the person themselves know what lines they have crossed with God. I would say though its a very good sign if that person feels they want to reestablish a relationship w/ the Lord.
If that person is saved he will come back by any method used by God. sometimes people come back to Jesus after an accident, a very hard issue or even in their death bed. God bless you
Amen tithe5th!!! A true Christian cant keep on sinning. Most Christians dont believe that. Repent and live for Jesus now. build a relationship with Jesus NOW! Come out of this world, Come out of false teachings NOW! Fear and tremble at the coming judgment of the living God!
We are to be like students of Berea....Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
You overcome your sin by forgiveness from God, not by abstaining from sin. With all due respect, anyone who does not understand this does not understand the concept of forgiveness. It is not necessary that God excuse our sins, only to forgive them, which is done by Christ's death.
@paulpichulo no. you don't understand the difference between sins unto death and sins not unto death, or willful sins and sins of ignorance.. this is basic bible here... you think God would forgive you for committing adultery with a christian brother's wife? then you have no respect for God, marriage, Salvation, the Blood of Jesus, ect ect...
How can Christ become un satisfactory to God once He was accepted for Atonement?Matthew 12 is not saying the Spirit can be replaced. It is Jewish teaching for kingdom law.Hebrews is saying after having Christ dear Jew you cannot go somewhere else there is no new or old sacrifice for sin to compliment Christ.Revelation is not saying the elect will not overcome.service does not make the Atonement perfect.1 Cor 9 says he put in his body in subjection not his salvation in order to kept.
@polopowers1 Christ will not continue to dwell in a vessel that's sinning.... if you're in ignorance that's one thing.. but willful sin is not acceptable... read Hebrews 10 and there's many other verses that say the same thing... Paul said if he himself didn't bring his body under subjection then even he would be a "cast away" 1 Cor 9:27 It's what the whole Bible is about. What happened with Jonah? That's not a lesson for us? you're lost... horrible..
10 year Bible student, and you still don't understand that Christians are dead to the law? We are saved by faith - not of works, and we stay saved by faith - not of works.
@johncee77 According to James 2:17 it states: 17Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. A person shows their faith in the things that they do which is called their fruits. Just because a person says that they believe in the Word but do nothing to show they believe by obeying the Word then their faith is good for nothing. If a person tells you that they love you and do nothing to show it then their love is no good.
Thanks for this. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. There is so much deceit out there. You are one of the few who seem to be on completely on target. Forerunner777 is another one who seems right on... wish there was more of you. Myself, I have been misled a number of times Almost all the Evangelical leaders I remember from 25 years ago seem to have ran off embracing all kinds of error like ecuminicalism, I could never understand the support for Bush and his war either.
Galatians chapter 5, you have been severed from Christ...verse 4. "You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by Law, you've fallen from grace." Can't have both. You're either saved by grace or kept by grace, or saved by Law and kept by Law. You're not saved by grace and kept by Law.
its true that even christians can be tempted out of faith, but jesus doesn't have to save us more than once. we don't have to be baptized more than once. i would say we are saved ONCE by jesus, and we don't need to be saved anymore.
Who was that addressed to? Oh, the Apostles. Not to be a nit picker, but context is a must. I can come up with all kinds of crazy doctrines and quote verses out of context to support them. It works for the Jehovah's Witnesses. So be careful. Remember the exegesis of scripture is very important.
Sounds like you belong to one of those "Joel Osteen" megachurches - the "feel good", "one big happy family", "no need to discuss sin" church. JackRyan09, you're full of hot air. As for the "meat" you mention, sounds like you're still on Pablum. Once you can start quoting scripture to argue a point, your comments are welcomed, otherwise do everyone a favor and shut up.
2Pe 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
2Pe 2:21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
And every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the FLESH is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. You are of God, little children and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is of the world..1 John 4:3,4 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him......1 John 5:18
This seems to be a big issue in USA? In Norway nobody discuss this topic, it is considered obvious that someone can decide to turn away from God even if they are born again christians.
Very few calvinists here anyway, I don't know about anyone.
Jude 1:12 "These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;"
Jesus said - "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?'
And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you, DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'' Matthew 7: 22-23
Get to the point and be specific. you're just rambling here. it's like you want to be a rebuker but it's obvious you don't know what you're talking about and blah blah blah.. Why don't you at least give some sort of argument here about some scripture? Can you do that? What's terrible interpretation? Try and fix it then but no you go into excuses and other ramblings. You do that because you aint got nuffin
@tlthe5th He who believes Christ Atonement can be negated by human behavior does not believe election, they do not believe Good chastens His people but somehow is depending on man to make Christ work perfect.God is satisfied with Christ for salvation and no man can make him unsatisfactory by sin, which is what your really saying.Somehow God was once satisfied with Christ brutal suffering but because man did not live up too sacrifice he is lost after being saved, disgrace to Christ
@polopowers1 i'm not saying that at all. its a typical false argument. i never said we had to work to receive salvation, but once a man is saved and has his eyes opened, and Christ is dwelling within, there will be WORKS, unless Christ is not in them (reprobate).
The trouble with the doctrine of unconditional eternal security; is that teaches Christians to be lazy and they stop working for God (no not to get saved, I'm not talking about salvation by works). Also it teaches a lack of personal holiness.
Brother keep preaching the Christians need to know this.
I agree with you savedbygrace1972. Many of the OSAS Christians don't feel the need to grow and mature in the faith to reflect Christ. Many I've met are arrogant and carnal in their reactions, ie. will try to shout you down about OSAS.
Other verses against once saved, always saved are....Philippians 2:12 - ...work out your own salvation with fear and trembling....Rev 3:16 - So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth.
are you saying that people who have accepted Christ and backslide(go back to living life like they were never enlightened) and commit sins cannot be forgiven if they truly repent and come back to Christ?
@darizzle7 People that fit the description you gave are on very dangerous ground. Read 2 Peter 2:20-22 and come back and let me know if that doesnt clear it up for you. I often wonder if people such as yourself have ever read the whole bible themselves or if they have just sat in a church pew depending on preachers to tell them everything.
@darizzle7 did you read the verse I suggested or not? the verse you quoted I see it says "might be saved" and "should not perish". Yes, "might" be. Maybe... Should... IF. As Jesus stated, "Ye are my friends IF you do whatsoever I command you." John 15:14 Are you Jesus's friend? Now stop your accusations against me and look at your own self. That's what I do. I looked at myself and judge myself by the Word of God. I am sharing verses that may pull someone out of the very fire of hell.
@darizzle7 Jude 1:23 "And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh." READ THE BIBLE YOU ARE CONDEMNING ME FOR BEING OBEDIENT. YOU ARE LIKE THE PHARISEES!!
I don't have any other scriptures besides what is in this video all I have is my personal experience. I was in a car accident this week and I had a fealing of utter dread that if I had died that night I was going to hell and I needed to repent. I have been baptised and have gone to church. I recently fell away from the church over the past few years and started drinking again. I am postive if I had died that night I was going to hell.
thank you very much for that testimony. I believe your experience was 100 percent legit and that you were right about where you would have gone. God showed a lot of mercy to you. Hold on to what God showed you and don't let anyone convince you out of it. Open the Bible and start reading the book of Mark and then read the rest of the Bible and you will verify that God is the way you experienced at the time of your accident.
@wndebu weird when I was on XTC and living the rave scene God was always there and because he was always with me he healed me . to say one can lose there salvation is a Deadly game to play . I would pray for help to God each night and for his Grace to be with me and help me throw this part of my life . Only God knows who is saved ; I know he was with me and I was saved even in my darkest day .
Excellent video brother. The simple TRUTH is, (In by choice, out by choice) God will force NO ONE to receive Jesus and neither will he force anyone to stay against their will. We either choose to follow Jesus but always have the right to turn back to the world. Those who love sin more than God will NOT be saved in the end. It's not how we start the race but how we finish that matters. God's will is for all to be saved, but robots, No. He could MAKE rocks do that. God bless brother
Salvation -and- walking in the spirit, is the work of the Holy Spirit(not man) and the Bible says that the Holy Spirit can be resisted. Christians must learn to depend on the Holy Spirit,God will not force us to do that(although He will chastise us, and remind us of how much we really NEED to DEPEND on Him) .
Yes, brother, Christians must know the whole Word, ask for direction from the Holy Spirit in regard to discerning the Word of God properly. Backsliding isn't a myth, God talks about it, in both the Old and New Testaments. Good video. Scripture will never contradict Scripture.
if people have NO choice and sin is unavoidable then God would be wasting His time judging them, and God would not care , if as according to Calvinism sinning is unavoidable then Jesus would not have needed to come! and at Judgment God would let everyone in His kingdom since sinning is unavoidable and also obedience.
under the deception of Calvinist reformed doctrine Gods kingdom would crumble in anarchy...
Thanks brother. More people need to here this. Is there a way to get messages like this to the sheep who are under the shepherdship of pastors like Paul Washer, John Piper and the such? while these people have a true love and passion for the Lord their false teaching is leading many astray.
If we can lose salvation, that means we can never know if we are saved since we are not all knowing... The Bible clearly states that we can have assurance of salvation! (1 John 5:13)
"Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?" 2 Corinthians 13
ok so i guess you're saying that you keep the commandments. great! but this verse doesnt cover ever particular case. and it certainly doesnt cover people who were saved and fell away.
Amen brother tell the truth for we are living in these last days and need to abide more in truth. For Jesus created us for that purpose to praise and worship Him in truth. Preach on with truth brother. May the Spirit of Christ bless you endlessly!
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."
All things work together for good to us and to our salvation. Because God called us according to His purpose.
If we can fall away into hell after God saved us according to his will, we make God inability. Fourtunately, God is almighty and He extreamely loves us. So we will not go to hell after we saved by God.
no. you twist the Word of truth. God gives us the choice. and God gives us the power to overcome. but some men would rather sin then be a child of God. "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." 1 Corinthians 10:13
"Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;" 2 Corinthians 10:5 But mwn dont do this. they choose satan and sin and weakness instead of God power and truth. and then they twist the Word like yourselves and heap more condemnation upon themselves.
Romans 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
That's right. in all the things Paul was talking about he said those things wouldn't be able to seperate us from the love of God. But we ourselves can turn away from God, into a life of sin AGAIN and be damned into a worse damnation than one who is more ignorant. the Lord said we would receive for our works. each man will receive his reward good for good and evil for evil.
yeah, "no man" (other than yourself) notice the scripture doesn't say "you can't" ... "pluck yourself from your father's hand" So people like you just make up a whole new religion/gospel and it's VERY demonic. If what you say is correct then there is no more need to FEAR GOD which is the WHOLE DUTY OF MAN. After this, you're blocked. I'm finished discussing holy scripture with corrupt people who twist Gods Word to suit their sinful lifestyles.
"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Our salvation is eternal. Because God loves us forever and His power is greater than everything.
1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 Now If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear? 19 Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator
well i believe it says in Galations 5:4 "You have fallen away from Grace". Paul is talkin to the christians of Galatia saying you canloose it.And thinking that you can live like "Hell" and Inherit the Kingdom of God is just insane. If you live like hell, you essentially deny god with your lifestyle, which is essentially blasphemy, which is the one sin that can not be forgiven. Im not trying to discourage, just enlighten about the truth.
Right on, Once saved not always saved. It reads: As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly. Proverbs 26:11
[21 It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. 22Of them the proverbs are true: "A dog returns to its vomit,"[f]and, "A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud." Second peter 2:21 to 22]
"Remain(continue, abide)in Me and I will remain(continue, abide) in you". I did not remain and lost everything more than seven years ago. Heb 12:14-17 (*verse 15) .
The clearest message that I have seen is in Luke 12:42-46. If the Master comes back and finds his servant, whom he left in charge, mistreating everybody etc... then he (The master) will assign him a place with the UNBELIEVERS. This would imply that he WAS a believer to begin with....
"For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.... otherwise thou also shalt be cut off." Rom. 11:20-22
"Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall." 1 Cor. 10:12
The actual writer of Hebrews 6:4-7 is NOT speaking to Christians,he is addressing people who were practicing Judaism who were on the verge of making a committment to Christ. The "falling away" referred to pre-acceptance of Christianity.People, read the word IN CONTEXT!WHO was the writer talking TO?As it is being explained by this(minister?),there is no chance of repentance of sin by Christians!Untrue! If we sin, after salvation,we REPENT!We do not ask God to re-save us(re-crusifixion)That is shame!
What you are saying is the most absolutely WORST satanic heresy any devil out of hell could espouse. Words from the Bible aren't meant for Christians but unsaved Jews??? YOU are out of your mind.
Since when are practicing Jews "made partakers of the Holy Ghost"? You have read into this passage something that is not there. Yes we do repent if we sin (IJn1:9) but the Bible makes clear we can shipwreck our faith also. It is very dangerous to attempt to make certain problematic scriptures (which contradict our assumptions)not apply to us! Receive with meekness the ingrafted Word which is able to save you.
you also used heb 6.. now loook real close.. you must admit then one who sins after being enlightened can NOT be revived AGAIN to repentence. SO MY QUESTION IS HAVE YOU EVER SINNED SINCE YOU BEEN ENLIGHTEND.. THEN YOU HAVE NO ASSURANCE OF YOUR REPENTANCE ACCORDING TO THIS SCRIPTURE.. once u see this i bet your will change your belief. read PHILLIPANS 1:6 and let me know if that scripture proves GOD WILL KEEP US.. he who also comes to the Lord He will IN NO WAY CAST AWAY. is another script.
if i have sinned after being enlightened to the fact that I cant sin then I would be going to hell. It's amazing that people like you allow themselves to be deceived by false ministers like that. read the last few verses of Revelation. Notice that the warning is to every man. "EVERY" that doesn't mean some, or Christians, or whatever. It's EVERY man. And EVERY man who adds to the word of God or takes away from it...well, read it yourself. The Bible is the same way all the way through.
i asked once on yahoo answers whatr if a man murder 30 people is he saved . they said yes . i said what if a man rape 40 women is he saved. they said yes . I said what if a man rapes and kills a kindergarden class is he saved . they said yes . i said what if a man murders a hospital of newborns is he saved they said yes. i said what if a man kills hcildren and sacrifices there bodys on an alter to satan are they saved they said yes .....
2Pe 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
Look at it this way. Think of a Great Wedding. God is Greater than the wedding planer.
He invites 100 people to the Wedding, but everybody does not know His original plan.
For some reason 70 rejected the Invitation and 30 accepted. Now God knows that but He will not force every person He Invited to Accept or Not To Accept.
Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.
If a Christian is in bed with a whore committing adultery and a stray bullet from a drive-by shooter strikes him in the head and kills him instantly, where will he go?
"Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers,.. shall inherit the kingdom of God." 1 Cor. 6:9,10
"no whoremonger,.. hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God." Eph. 5:5
im glad to see somone putting out a good message theres so many preacher and teachers and even just takers that are going to have alot of blood on there hands for teaching once saved always saved that teaching is a lie right out of hell and an excuse for backsliders
is ...shielded by God's power... (1 Pet. 1:5); is ...kept by Jesus Christ... (Jude 1:1); is ...not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved. (Heb. 10:39); was ...bought at a price... (1 Cor. 6:20);
...is a new creation; the old has gone... (2 Cor. 5:17); ...overcomes the world... (1 John 5:4); ...has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life (John 5:24); ...does not continue to sin... (1 John 5:18); ...will never follow a stranger... (John 10:5); and ...will never turn away... (Jer. 32:40).
Keep on preachin truth brother! It is not popular to do so in todays world! Everyone wants to rationalize sin in their lives it seems. Check this out. Sin is willful transgression. Perfection = Flawlessness, Christian Perfection = Blamelessness. There is a difference. Sin separates us from God. Keep Christ First!
If i was "saved" (baptized) but back slid. Not wanting anything to do with God. I started worshiping the devil, praticed witch craft and preached false doctrines about the bible. Then died while still in stans grasp, would make it to heaven when Christ returns? Thess. 4:16.
I wouldn't want to be in heaven because i don't like Jesus and sin can no longer revail in God's kingdom.
In Romans 10:9 it says That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
If i was "saved", but back slid. I started to worship stan and study his false doctrines. I wanted nothing to do with Christ anymore. If i died while in that same state would i go to heaven when Jesus returns? Thess. 4:17.
But i wouldn't want to be in heaven because i don't like Jesus.
All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.....And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day...And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
you should visit the church of jesus christ of latter day saints. seriously, just go to a couple meetings and pray to your father in heaven if the spirit you feel there is his.. you are right on the ball man! i love the vid
(Ezekiel 18:24) "But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? "And I give unto them eternal life, and THEY SHALL NEVER PERISH, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." (John 10:28) Does God lie???
disciplesofthecross 1 year ago
@disciplesofthecross No, God doesn't lie. So stop making a cult out of this one verse. Man can refuse to walk with God. That would be their choice. You really don't make sense to me.
tlthe5th 1 year ago

2Bonita08 1 year ago

@tlthe5th So the question is a straw man, OSAS is a free gift of god if you take it.
modernrocks 1 year ago
@modernrocks I'm not sure I understand you. the christian "walks" with God until the day of his death. Unless they turn their back on God which a man can do at any point. God says a christian will go through a lot of things during his life. there's persecutions, chastening, trials and tribulations and all kinds of tests. We are warned throughout scripture that we must endure it all until the end. I dont really understand your comments. are you trying to make a point?
tlthe5th 1 year ago

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.—1 John 1:7-9 You are a false teacher...be careful what you say, you can only REJECT your salvation, you cannot LOSE it.
digishell 1 year ago
@digishell I'm a false teacher? Is that right? I know what the verse you quoted means. I don't think you do though. No, I'm not a false teacher. But you're a false accuser. The "sins" John is talking about are the ones we realize as we walk in the light and walk with God. We will realize that we sinned sometimes. Not sins like Adultery etc But realizing we erred someplace. Then if we confess God forgives. You are very quick to speak. That is wrong. Be quick to hear, slow to speak...

@MsBrianpeter "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" Amos 3:3. Who brought us this verse? Was it man or God?
tlthe5th 1 year ago
So you are saying once we accept Jesus, and then continue to sin after we accept him, our salvation is lost? Now that you are a Christian, you live a completely sin free life? I may as well just give up, since I sin every day. I know better, but some days I still lie, or get angry. I guess salvation is only reserved for the sinless born again Christians. According to your video God will tell me he never knew me. I thought our salvation didn’t come from works, but by grace, I guess I was wrong.
digishell 1 year ago
@digishell Read the epistles of John, he who sins is of the devil. but there's a difference between willfully sinning and sinning in ignorance. a lot of people believe they are Christians but never truly met Jesus. they are religious. And sinners. Jesus came to give us power over sin. That is the good news. Have you ever heard the true gospel of Christ my friend? that we have victory over the devil through Christ? 1John1:7

into subjection, lest, when I preached to others, I myself should become
disqualified."
Grace of God should not make a christian lawless and disobedient !
"What shall we say then? Shall we continue to sin that grace may abound?
Certainly not ! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

I have recently argued with people who have supported works based salvation, earning it by obedience or doing something including law and other works..which is umbilical
yet at the same time i do realize that once someone gets saved then there is nothing further they can do for salvation..its done..but after that there is a life of testing growing temptation and so forth we are are not contending for salvation
but sttriveing for the christian life and making sure we dnt fall out of it .
frank0067 1 year ago
@frank0067 you said, "but sttriveing for the christian life and making sure we dnt fall out of it ." Okay, and what if you do "fall out of it"?
Aren't you yourself preaching "works" by saying that "...making sure we dnt fall out of it"? As I said to someone else tonight, "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" Amos 3:3. There are people who turn their backs on God. He promises to do the same to them. "...if we deny him, he also will deny us:" 2 Tim 2:12

not by what i do but what he did. by his stipes i am saved.that no man may boast.confess with his mouth, believe in his heart..any man that says he is without sin is a liar and the truth is not in him..he who is without sin throw the 1st stone ..all of romans..faith is works.. by rejecting which is blasphemy of the holy spirit by this you knownly willingly lose your salvation.............................that is the only way.....other then that we ALL fall short.. satan knownly rejected God..
shanealan4161 1 year ago
@shanealan4161 we fell short BEFORE we met Christ. Have you met the Son of God my friend? Are you born again? Have you felt the blood of Jesus wash away your sins? Did you receive power as God promises in His word? Then you are still just a sinner who is religious and thinks he is saved. I pray you really meet Jesus. If you knew Him you would know we cannot sin against Him and enter heaven. John was talking about sins of ignorance. Or going astray. Not belligerence against God.
tlthe5th 1 year ago
@Ignatius1125 Remember demons believe in God because they’ve seen Him. But believing in God doesn't save anyone, It also takes believing that Jesus died for all our sins. This is where the demons fall short. Belief is the only requirement for salvation. If a believer chooses to live a fruitless life, then they will suffer loss, both here and in eternity, but they will still be saved. because It's the sincere prayer of faith that saves us, not our efforts to be good afterward. 1 Cor 3:10-15

@xhemexx tlthe is right. No scriptures say that if a person departs from the faith, he was never saved to begin with. You can't depart from a place you never once were.

Acts 2:39-41 (King James Version)

@praizingHIM The True Name of Christ is YHWH not Jesus. The Letter J has only been in existence since the 1200s. It did not exist 2000 years ago so it was impossible for his name to be Jesus. The Holy Ghost shall save a person...not the person save himself. The Holy Ghost shall baptize you in the Name of YHWH and he shall baptize you with a fire and the Holy Ghost will use your body to speak the True Gospel of Christ and then...the end shall come.

I believed in that for years. but my eyes were opened to the truth. praise God. once the truth was revealed to me, the part where it says about the road being narrow and few will find it made total since. i understood it. i would never be able to go inside this person and understand what God has clearly showed her and what God has not clearly showed her in the Word of God. we are only accountable for what we have been given. the Lord stated he who was given much shall much be required Luke 12:48. only will the person themselves know what lines they have crossed with God. I would say though its a very good sign if that person feels they want to reestablish a relationship w/ the Lord.

You overcome your sin by forgiveness from God, not by abstaining from sin. With all due respect, anyone who does not understand this does not understand the concept of forgiveness. It is not necessary that God excuse our sins, only to forgive them, which is done by Christ's death.

As for the "meat" you mention, sounds like you're still on Pablum. Once you can start quoting scripture to argue a point, your comments are welcomed, otherwise do everyone a favor and shut up.

And every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the FLESH is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. You are of God, little children and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is of the world..1 John 4:3,4 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him......1 John 5:18

yes. it's referred to in the Bible as "twice dead"

"I die daily..."
According to Paul... sounds like it's our job to die daily to our flesh/will and make sure who is in charge, of course Christ.
other than that, just pointing that scripture out... not getting into the debate, if you want info--see my page for OSAS and gnostic connections.

@tlthe5th He who believes Christ Atonement can be negated by human behavior does not believe election, they do not believe Good chastens His people but somehow is depending on man to make Christ work perfect.God is satisfied with Christ for salvation and no man can make him unsatisfactory by sin, which is what your really saying.Somehow God was once satisfied with Christ brutal suffering but because man did not live up too sacrifice he is lost after being saved, disgrace to Christ
polopowers1 1 year ago
@polopowers1 i'm not saying that at all. its a typical false argument. i never said we had to work to receive salvation, but once a man is saved and has his eyes opened, and Christ is dwelling within, there will be WORKS, unless Christ is not in them (reprobate).
tlthe5th 1 year ago
The trouble with the doctrine of unconditional eternal security; is that teaches Christians to be lazy and they stop working for God (no not to get saved, I'm not talking about salvation by works). Also it teaches a lack of personal holiness.
Brother keep preaching the Christians need to know this.
Thanks

@darizzle7 People that fit the description you gave are on very dangerous ground. Read 2 Peter 2:20-22 and come back and let me know if that doesnt clear it up for you.

1TheWholeArmorofGod 2 years ago
Yes, brother, Christians must know the whole Word, ask for direction from the Holy Spirit in regard to discerning the Word of God properly. Backsliding isn't a myth, God talks about it, in both the Old and New Testaments. Good video. Scripture will never contradict Scripture.
1TheWholeArmorofGod 2 years ago
thats why calvinism is so dangerous
if people have NO choice and sin is unavoidable then God would be wasting His time judging them, and God would not care , if as according to Calvinism sinning is unavoidable then Jesus would not have needed to come! and at Judgment God would let everyone in His kingdom since sinning is unavoidable and also obedience.
under the deception of Calvinist reformed doctrine Gods kingdom would crumble in anarchy...

Romans 8:28

John 10:28-29

That's right. in all the things Paul was talking about he said those things wouldn't be able to seperate us from the love of God. But we ourselves can turn away from God, into a life of sin AGAIN and be damned into a worse damnation than one who is more ignorant. the Lord said we would receive for our works. each man will receive his reward good for good and evil for evil.

yeah, "no man" (other than yourself) notice the scripture doesn't say "you can't" ... "pluck yourself from your father's hand" So people like you just make up a whole new religion/gospel and it's VERY demonic. well i believe it says in Galations 5:4 "You have fallen away from Grace".

The clearest message that I have seen is in Luke 12:42-46. If the Master comes back and finds his servant, whom he left in charge, mistreating everybody etc... then he (The master) will assign him a place with the UNBELIEVERS. This would imply that he WAS a believer to begin with....

Once Saved NOT Always saved!
Read Rev. 22:14- the word "keep" is on-going!

Do you need to be baptized to be saved?
In Romans 10:9 it says That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
