  • @frenlyguy95 Well that could be the reason. Just replace it with a proper fan or maybe a Delta and the problem will be fine! ;)

  • H50 is piece of crap that cant take overclocks, i have an i7 930 and it gave out after 2 hours at 3.5 ghz

  • @totallyairplanecrazy thats why i dont buy intel ;) my phenom ii x4 970 can get to 4.2 easily with this cooler.

  • @bezoro2008 My i7 can do 4 GHz with stock Cooler, imagine what i can do with this cooler, so you Fail.

  • @Razer13666 good for you, but i was talking about his processor not yours ok? (y) ;)

  • @bezoro2008 You said "Thats why i dont buy Intel", you where talking about Intel, and 5 of all the Intel PCs i had had no problem with temperature on stock cooler.

  • maaaaaaaaaan i love you videos !

  • i need a new fan for my cpu amd 970. i would like a water cooling cpu fan. i was looking at this or the XIGMATEK AIO-S80DP. are they better then a top modle fan or what i dont know anything about water cooling .

  • @frenlyguy95 A few things. This cooler struggles with the heat of I7s. The fan is only 1700rpm and rated at 50 cfm. That combined with such a small radiator means it just can't pull enough heat out.

This guys reviews are bogus. None of the respectable pc performance website reviewers could get the temps this guy claims with 4.0 overclocks. Your temps are about where this thing sits with most set ups.

  • @frenlyguy95

    m4a79xtd evo

    amd phenom x6 1055t

i just threw some random fans on it

thermal paste is from scythe / they sent it together with the mugen 2 which i am not using

the cpu is overclocked stock speed 2,8ghz to 2,94

  • @frenlyguy95 if i touch my radiator at idle i dont feel any heat (34c cpu temp / 23c core) so there is somethign wrong.

sounds stupid but are the fans are placed right or?

did you changed anything in your bios like DRAM / QPI etc

  • @frenlyguy95 maybe you have a bad airflor / is your pc is under ur desk which is blocking the warm air to get out

and how warm does the radiator get? ( feel it with your hand )

if everythigns ok you shouldnt feel any heat @ idle

ps. sounds stupid but open the case place a normal house fan next to it and see the temps ... if your temps still stuck your product might be damaged

is the fan on the radiator blowing into the case or out

  • @frenlyguy95 download "Speedfan" you can choose between 0% to 100% with that program

  • @frenlyguy95 does it have full contact?

is the pump running at 100%?

too much or too less thermal paste?

    try another fan

  • Wonder if ti's possible to mod it to use a 240mm rad?

  • can i get discount of Corsair H50 Cooler brand? Newegg selling company sucks to me b'cuz i cant afford it.

  • Comment removed

  • best thing to do would be to order the H50 cooler and first try if it fits the 1156 socket .

ihad to order an extra 1156 bracket at the store because the store clerk told me so.

but later i didnt notice much difference .

so first try the H50 on 1156 socket ,if you have problems with the screw holes .

then you can order another 1156 bracket for around 4 euro .

but ill bet i was tricked in buying it for nothing .

cause i still cant figure out ,much difference.

  • Someone that has this cooler with a Q6600 please please please tell me how high can I go with it? I got a Coolmaster 690 case with a 120mm vent blowing on the gpu, a front 120mm vent and a rear 120mm vent to take out air. If I get this cooler, will it outperform the coolermaster V6 or V8? And will I be able to go from 2.4ghz to 3.2?? My case doesn't get alot of air because it's under my desk but it has enough space I'd say... so will it go to 3.2 without any risks? =S

  • @Aspect2010

not without any risks ,thats the only thing i can tell for sure .

if it will out perform your previous cooler ,i dunno

will it reach 3,2 ghz , i dunno depends on the rest of your system.

mem cards ,psu ,motherboard type . etc etc

the cooler would not be the problem ,i guess .

but when you overclock that high ,it depemds on the cpu and the rest of the system.

  • Will this thing fit an AMD 754 socket? All I see mentioned is AM2/+/AM3 compatibility, and that's definitely not "every AMD socket" compatibility like you mentioned.

  • @angleisthebest No. Just bought one of these things yesterday, and it only comes with AM2/AM3 brackets for AMD.

  • @Chandlermaki Thanks for letting me know. Rodney should really change the review by saying "supports only AM2 and newer sockets", instead of the bullshit "fits all AMD-based motherboards" that he's spouting.

  • i have a 775LGA socket would it work?

  • @Win7Tutorials2012

yes ,the 775 brackets are included.

    i can confirrm that /

  • its working now with every socket.I buy this cooler last month and i have everi bracket.

  • the power cable of the pump is very very short wtf !!! fucking morons!!

  • I just bought this last night in best buy, looks like a kick ass product :D

  • is the v10 better

  • @EddieLolz3r no

  • @adrycalvo yes, it does work with socket LGA1156

  • Comment removed

  • Rod, where you drunk when you made this video?

  • Whats included in this particular cat:

  • will this cooler fit in a Antec 900 case with MSI 770-C45 AM3 motherboard????

  • How would the Asetek 570LX LCLC(240mm) compare to this? I know Corsair adds some technologies to their 120mm cooling to make it better than the Asetek 510LC(120mm). I'm getting it from a site that builds the computer for you and they don't have this option for cooling, only Asetek.

  • Do you have HT off?

Because when i have HT on the temperature goes over 70 celsius. Without HT i get the same as you... with same volt and frequency.

  • I got a quick question. I got one of these combined with an I7 930 at 3.8ghz and 1.22 volts. It's stable but it idles at 39 celcius and loads at 75 ish with prime 95 and linX. I am using a little spot of arctic silver 5 TIM in the middle of the CPU spread by the pressure of the H50 alone. I replaced the TIM already and the temps didn't change. Any idea why i'm so far from your results?

  • @FatFuckRecherche did you give it time to break in? A guy posted a review on newegg and said it took a little over a week (as far as I recall) for the paste to properly settle and then he had significant temp drops.

  • I have this and it rocks.

    not on I7 tho, but phenom X3 720@ 4Ghz

max temp is 40C, idle 23C

  • I OC'd my i7 920 with the H50 cooler to 3.8GHz. Runing at the exact same idle and full load temps you posted. :)

  • sweet! it's better than air cooling, and is easier to install than crazy ass custom cooling.

it'll get a core i7 up to 4ghz, so it looks good to me.

  • it's not better than air cooling (any more), and you have to turn around your air system in your case..

  • OK, I have one question, at 1:47 he says it also comes with a thin cote of thermal compound, is it already applyed on it or do I have to apply it, and secondly do I have to apply more thermal compound on my CPU or will the thin cote one do the job plenty enough? Thx

  • You do not have to worry about the thermal compound at all. It is already applied and you do not need to put additional compound on the CPU.

  • I have this product and all i can say is it sucks!

  • @Pee1314 Why mate ?

  • 59c at load? What do you use to load the processor? Try intel burn test and I guarantee that you won't be that low.

  • Maybe he is looking at the cpu temperature and not the core...

  • lol, that fan was running in 100 rpm lol!!!!

  • 2:26 "And a quiet 120mm fan"

Rodneys biggest blooper? This fan is loud and sounds like a hairdryer! I know becuse I have this cooler on my Corsair Case.

  • not a 100% kick ass product though ;)

  • @b0ss6769 I think I know why he didn´t rate this 100% kickass. The fan sounds like a hairdryer and I have this cooler.

  • lol any good ?

my personal view is that it is still an amateur product with still room and plenty of room for development.

im sticking with the good basics ;)

  • will this fit on the MSI 790FX-GD70 motherboard

  • am2 and am3 socket are the same mount

  • I actually think this should be considered a 100% kickass product, its affordable water cooling for your cpu, its low profile, quiet, and cools exceptionally well and the water never needs to be refilled or anything like that, but hey thats just my opinion

  • If the radiator needs to be at a fan taking IN air to cool it, should I extend the tubes to reach the fans at the front of my Antec 920 so correct air flow is retained?

  • If I have this on my Antec 900 and I gonna have it at back. Should it take fresch air outside the case and blow it in the case?

  • Comment removed

  • Can I put the radiator in the horizontal way in order to put it on top of my HAF 932??????

  • If the tubes are long enough and if it fits then YES, and the tubes are long enough for the HAF 932 ;)

The fan blows in cool air from outside into the case to cool the radiator. So if you put it in the top you should have an exhaust fan in the back of the case.

  • Yes, that's how mine is. I love it by the way...

  • Why have it at the top. All the hot air goes to the top of the case. You'll be pulling hot air through the radiator. I have mine at the back.

  • i wonder if this would be a big differance in my zalman 9900.

  • @cisco760ca Depends on what you do consider big? It will be less noisy & the performance will increase but that does only matter if you are going for a CPU clock speed about at least (~)4Ghz

  • @XarXes3675 well i did get the corsair h50 and all i can say is dammm big differance in cooling power . im at 3.8 and its at 32 C . when im gonna go gamming i put it to 4.2 on my eleet overclocker software and its at 35 idle and 45 load.

  • seems to be a good solution ...

But , why giving the "max rpm" temp as a result ??

Under 60° is good , but it would be more at a quite fan speed , too bad u didn't gave it

    Good review as always :p

  • Im pretty sure these temps are off What do you use to monitor your temps? I have a x58 board and i7 920 and with a stock cooler the idel temps are more like 44C at stock speed not 4ghz that has to either be a typo or your readings are off.

  • I have a 920 also, just installed the H20; my idle temp at 4.0 is 31... I am using Everest and my mobo application, both verify this

  • fuck of troll

  • eat a dick

  • Er you know the fan at the back, it draws IN air sooo does that screw up the airflow in the case? because don't all the fans in a normal case bring cool air in from the front.

Just wondering because im looking to get one of these

  • @StefanH1234 hey genius...you have the freedom of placing the fan either way you want...on BOTH SIDES...making it blow in or out of the case...

this marvelous new technology is called rotation...of an object. by 180 degrees.

  • is this better than aquagate max or aquagate viva?

  • Does this only works with the Corsair case?

  • did you watch the video... it works with basically any case

  • Any case with a 120mm vent on the back

  • Are you for real? Sounds like a troll to me...but just in case...NO a radiator doesn't emit radiation...check out the dictionary online and put in Radiator to see what a radiator does...

  • Hahaha, that made me laugh xD

  • omfgO_o radiation, is that a joke? do u mean radioactive radiation?

  • @uuuaaaaaa - No. It is able to radiate heat, meaning it will draw out or disperse the heat.

  • ur joking right?

  • @klote2314 ya ya jokes

  • ra·di·a·tion (rā'dē-ā'shən)

    n. 1. The act or process of radiating: the radiation of heat and light from a fire.

  • @klote2314 Joking about what? Was that aimed at oryfoxer? If it was...I can confirm that I run a 920 at 4.2 Ghz, and idle temperature is still well below 40c! :)

  • this water cooler is wicked Asome

  • get it! just got mine to day im using a core i7. 4.3ghz 1.35 volts. and using 2 cooler master R4 in push/ pull. it idles at 43c and loads at 66c

  • Mine won't install. The top right screw and that silver thing that goes underneath the motherboard, through the backplate just screws in on an angle and i can't install it on my i7! Also, when I try to put the actual "waterblock" on, i twist but it does nothing. help please lol.

  • ok see the notches on the mounting bracket?

  • Hmm, i will check a bit later because my evga X58 classified isnt botting at all. this is a new system. It says F6 then F3 and restars, over and over. IDK wuts wrong. BTW my corsair H50 doesnt come with those big silver screws for mounting it, it comes with small black screws, wtf?

  • are they spring loaded?

  • The screws for the H50? NOPE =( Those are what i need. It only came with like 5 or 6 (need 4) little black screws :S Does anyone know where i can get the accessories for the installation of the

H50? I think that's all i need. The only things that are fine is the actual H50 (radiator, fan, tubing, waterblock thing). Thanks.

  • it should of game with 4 long black ones. and 4 long silver silver ones.

  • Err nup :P Came with 4 long black screws with washers for the radiator but no long silver one's for cpu :S

  • S.O.L?

  • I got the Classified working, as I've heard, ti was the RAM. 3x2GB G.Skill Trident 2000mhz. I put ONE stick in DIMM 1, installing windows now ;)

  • What I'm wondering is how it would compare to the Prolimatech Megahalems and could it keep a Q6600 overclocked to 3.6, maybe even 3.8 GHz cool, not going over °70 under full load?

  • I got my Q9550 E0 @ 3.93 1.31v Ran prime95 for 5 hourse never went past 58c

  • what cooler are you using!

  • The one he is reviewing H50

  • will it work on SK478?

  • Hi,

Will it work with the Intel LGA1156 socket?

  • There is a new version with the bracket needed for LGA1156, Corsair model CWCH50-1 (only difference in the name from the original is the -1).

  • thanks... btw you have some nice videos :)

  • thanks, btw you have some nice videos :)

  • @adrycalvo

    its 775 and 1336. I know right?

  • @adrycalvo yes

  • @adrycalvo all socket exept amds sockets i think it is am2 and am3 or something, and yes it fits all intel sockets i think

  • @adrycalvo

yes i build one on my 1156 socket

but i had to order an extra 1156 bracket at the same store .

later i didnt notice much difference in the brackets ,exept for the screw holes .

but i didnt mind ,it was cheap anyways.

the bracket is around 4 bucks extra in dollars i guess.

it was around the same price in euro's

so mind the extra bracket and order it with it.

  • Just installed one of these on an Asus P6T Deluxe with an i7 920. It has exceeded expectations. OCed to 3.8Ghz, I'm idling at 32-36C (stock cooler was giving 46C at idle with CPU at 2.66Gz) and under real-world use, temps don't exceed 55C. I also have it venting out of the case rather contrary to manufacturer recommendations. This is keeping case temps very cool. I have 2 front mounted , and one side mount 120s drawing in air, and a 230mm on the top pulling warn air out of an Antec 902.

  • I have the exact same case and CPU and motherboard (V2 version though). Except I have a Ultra 120 Extreme. What are all your 4-core temps under idle and load (prime 95, small FFT's)?

  • Does anyone know how this cooler performs with two HIGH FLOW 120's like the 3,000 rpm fans from scythe or other high cfm fans perform with this cooler.

  • Performance doesn't improve over 2000 RPMs. Infact, going from 1600 to 2000 RPM is only 1C lower. Although you WILL see a 6C improvement with dual 120mm 1600 RPM fans in push pull under load only. Dual fans on idle is the same temp as a single fan.

  • Great review Rodney, i have a question though. I have heard that it works better to mount the fan as an intake rather than an exaust. what kind of comparison does mounting the fan as an exaust

  • Wish he had titled this video Asetek LCLC as I would have found it much sooner. This is a commonly offered water cooler at Cyberpowerpc, Ibuypower and Digital Storms, yet the reviews of this cooler are terribly hard to find. So glad I discovered this one! Looks like a very good cooler. Might be going with this one after all =D

  • Just like to say thanks for all the video reviews, which are well presented & very informative.

Could you please answer me this question, i am thinking of purchasing the Lancool Dragon-Lord PC-K62 Mid Tower Case. will the Corsair H50 CPU cooler install into this case?

  • Look up "Corsair H50" and sort by most recent. Someone has a pretty sick setup with that case and the H50.

  • dose this cooler fit on a AMD Phenom 2 x4 CPU ???

  • yes, its work on any current cpu.

  • is this water cooler good???

do you lose temp from this and is this better that fan cooling.

  • Im looking for a quiet solution, as i simply cannot listen to my Zalman 9700 any longer, despite the fact that i have Q-Fan turned on in BIOS. It keeps spooling up and down, and it just goes on my nerves. This product looks like the one im gonna go with, however i don't know much about liquid/water cooling. Won't i have to replace the liquid over time, or water? What is the lifespan of such a system?

  • This just got on my list for my next PC :)

  • You can buy one of thease for about £50 from many websites now :)

  • Good for you

  • The idle temp is 38 on all cores. This is done while the Intel 965 i7 is OC at 3896 Mhz

  • On Prime 95 Test. Max temperature is 82 degrees Celsius after one hour of testing.

  • geez, i got distracted with this video...while overclocking my cpu through E-leet..... supposed to be monitoring temps...stupid stupid stupid

  • The H50 runs fine on mine. Keeps my i7 Intel 965 Extreme Edition at a comfortable 39, 38,37, 39 degrees Celsius and it is OC at 3.8 Ghz.

  • Post load temps with LinX/Prime95?

  • its good but it doesnt look awesome other cooling kitsT_T

    5/5 still^_^

  • This cooler just seems too good to be true !

Those pipes aren't 35mm Dia though. Maybe you meant 35cm long, or maybe you misread and they're 8.5mm Dia ?

  • Wannabe NorthQ Siberian Tiger... Lol!

    This cooler is awesome...!

  • Ignore this, get the CoolIT Freezone Elite :]

  • Coolit Freezone Elite is expensive. If you can buy it, go for it.

  • Yeah, cheapest I found was £195(GBP).

It's a lot of money when my proessor will be like £80(GBP) less than that or something around that area.

  • I got the Corsair H50 CPU Cooler and on idle I got it at 37 degrees Celsius. I OC my intel i7 965 Extreme Edition to 3895 Mhz. It runs much better than Coolit Domino ALC.

  • I'm really digging these self contained water coolers. They really lower the temperature, are compact and are low priced too. Great item!

  • hey launger. time stops for nobody. that doesn't mean he still isn't real cool.

  • lots of air cooling HSFs will give better cooling

  • nah it beats all of them for a lower price.

  • wow... thats class... i will be picking this up

  • hey rodney realy nice reviews Q/A videos...

    I just have one question:

what programm do you use to edit your reviews?

    greetz Mh0x

  • u have to go to his website to ask him questions

  • Wow, great job Rodney. I still can't believe you are able to do so much in so little time. Bravo to you, man!

  • Someone can helpme and tell how to install a cooleermaster acugate duo viva to a amd procesor in a asus mother

  • lol!

    GOOGLE MOTHERFUCKER!

  • Oooh!

  • I don't think this is awesome for some overclocking cause your northbridge, southbridge and mosfets are still passive or air cooled.

This is still a badass solution for noise. I'm using Noctua fans, my PC is silent as f**k! :)

  • this or xigmatek DK, or thor ???

i need a good cpu cooler cuz i want to OC my E5200 to 4ghz 24/7

  • noctua nh-c12p / nh-12p

    true 120 extreme

they should do the job :)

  • DK, Vendetta 2, or Mugen 2

The DK and Mugen 2 come with backplates, the Vendetta 2 does not, however the Vendetta 2 performs slightly better than the other 2.

  • thanks

    noted!

  • back with HD are we =)

  • So this is better then (for example) a Cooler master v8 ?

  • It is pretty much on par, low end watercooling is about the same as high end aircooling but with alot less noise.

  • wtf i already saw this

  • Looks like the COOLIT a.l.c

  • YOU TUBE IS MESSING UP THE GAME MAN!

  • I don't mind seeing this review again, i quite like this product

It would be great for a little media box or file server or something like that

  • didnt u already upload this?
