@Dmsanct i wouldn't go that fair I was insulted because didnt sound like the song I so enjoy. Your remark about take a shit in a bag of irish potatoes was ever more so insulting.
Not bad it was pretty good but I can't help to feel some what insulted and impressed at the same time cus of my Irish heritage but keep up the good work and no need to worry I liked it
@Lukejcarter Thanks! I used the standard G tuning, but then tuned my B-string down a half-step (so it was g D G Bb D), and then capoed on the 2nd fret since we played the tune in A minor. Playing closed chords becomes awkward because of that adjustment, but luckily there are only 2 chords in this case: A minor and G Major.
I hated the banjo until I heard this. I guess it only sounds good in minor/dorian modes.

You are a trip, dude!! Very different, and very entertaining--virtuoso shamisen, with banjo accompaniment--lmao! Too cool.

You guys did great.

Awesome work. You've discovered another genre that suits the shamisen perfectly. You're like the Bela Fleck of shamisen.

This is made of win. I'm surprised an oriental instrument and an american instrument actually complemented each other.
