@fagtroll Not necessarily. You have to think about time in context. These guys came out in the 80's in a super "hardcore" scene. It wasn't cool to sing about loving a chick and hating your parents. But now, in contrast to the music of yesteryear. Mushy love/heartbreak songs are a dime a dozen. Hardcore has reached a "bar" that bands need to meet in order to be called hardcore. If kids listened to this, they'd probably see modern bands for the hacks they are.
