does is sound this raspy in person? because i plan on getting stingers with a catted x and i know with the cats it wont be as loud but i didnt know if you felt like an H would be better sounding
@HKD329 yes it did sound pretty raspy in person. I now have the pypes mid muffler setup on and sounds awesome. But if you are getting a catted x then you should not sound raspy at all. I would deff go with a x-pipe, much better sounding than H in my opinion anyway.
@pimpz888 are you talkin about sound or performance? The car now has a mid muffler setup and isn't nearly as raspy. And I have no problem staying with a mach 1 with almost the same mod's, and I beat stock mach's. But everybody has there own opinion
As long as its at least louder than stock lol. But I think im going with offroad x pipe and the stingers. Sounds like the best idea so far. What kinda of cai u got?
Well the stinger's alone with the stock H-pipe isn't loud at all. But coupled with the off-road x pipe it's the best combination ive come across yet. At lower speed's and keeping the rpm's below 2500 the car has a deep mellow sound. But at Wide open throttle it's pretty intense loud. People have heard me coming 1/2 mile down the road. If you want a deeper sound you might want to consider going with an o/r h-pipe? The camera didn't do a good job at all with sound. To me it sounds like old muscle
Hey man nice video. In the near future im getting JLT CAI, the sc x3 tuner and Im having issues on which exhaust to get. Im leaning toward the stingers big time, how do you like them? You can never get the true sound on these cameras. How loud and deep is it?
