Shane Doan is a good player who has won an Olympic Gold medal with Canada. He's not known for his rough play. The fact that Murray, who is known for fighting, beat up Doan shouldn't be celebrated by swedes. Murray hardly gets a point a season....pretty pathetic

The irish name come from a man in his dad's origin who migrated to sweden many houndred's of years ago.

Douglas mother's dad was a famous swedish player(Lars Bjorn) and it's there he got his hard physical play from.

Just to know how wrong you are:

-His dad had the surname "Murray" in his origin, he had the irish origin.

-His mother was 100% swede and her dad was a hard physical Swedish player, it's there the genetics comes from.

Ok then, thank you. I was given some misinformation then. From what I understood one of his parents was born in Ireland. I knew his grandfather was a hockey player. I guess my prior comments should be disregarded--however, he neither looks swede nor plays like one. He's good though.
