I love these '50s-vintage TV programs you've posted here. What a consumate actress Bette was--I miss her! Thank-you so very much for including such seldom seen works.
I am the daughter of the teacher Betty portrayed. Everything in the film did happen but, not all of it too Mom. They compiled the stories of several teachers who were in the storm, fron the mid west states. Mom did not take her students out into the storm. I am in the prosses of writing Moms story as told to my by her. She died two years ago at the young age of 92. She was a wonderful lady and teacher.
It is amazing the performance Ms. Davis could give in such a short period of time. A true classic of early television for which I thank you profoundly for sharing!
stop snivelling Mrs. Quist! don't you realize that our Bette will make it through (even if she has to eat the Knutsen children to survive!)
