The final night of Canadian Idol downtown Hamilton was INSANE and I totally agree with taramac14 because it was a lot of fun and it's extremely nice that there is finally a Hamilton Idol which makes us all proud. He did deserve to win because he gave it his all and he did a good job doing so.

Actually, there were a couple of contestants who actually had an amazing voice, but the judges sucked miserably, so u can't ask too much from them. The two finalists couldn't sing, though. Ironically, the right finalist won, after all the great singers were kicked out...

To be fair, you're taking the best contestants from several years of AI and comparing them to one season of CI. I'll admit that this year was probably the weakest (though I think the right person won), but we've had some top quality winners in the past. Of course, the US has 10 times the population, giving 10 times the talent pool to choose from, so we're hardly going to be able to maintain the same quantity of top singers.
