But he got EDGED by Downey here.

Downey landed more, although not much landed here by Downey.

McLaren started with an uppercut until Downey cameback throwing 4 solid shots, about 2 landing.

At the end he breaked free and throws 4 sharp shots, none landing though but he got McLaren off balance.

Hmm, define a good fight. Downey's a good fighter and sticks up for our guys. He's not one of those guys that goes out looking for a scrap. The one thing that wasn't mentioned about this fight against McLaren is that McLaren took a run at Zetterberg right before the fight, after he had run Drake into the glass. If Downey hadn't been in the line-up, God knows what McLaren would have done. Also, whoever said Mike Babcock is a hack should learn what coaching is. He'd see that he's one of the best.

Was at the game in SJ. McLaren layed a crushing hit on someone in the first period behind the Sharks net. He hit him so hard I swore the glass was going to break. The guy had trouble getting up and off the ice after that hit. Too bad we lost the game.
