Oly1 the Indians showed them how to survive & because of it the Indians have almost been wiped off the map! The current environment in this country isn't good....There's a lot of mean things that are going on because of politics & it's wrong. The very politicians (repubs) preaching smaller government are the one's who got us all in this situation. They preach we're for the little guy but show they only want to help the rich, I say a bunch of snakes! Dems are to cowardly to make a difference!

@SheBQueen4eva Well for 1 thing it wasn't the republicans that got us in this. Fair housing act signed by Jimmy Carter 1977 and pushed by Acorn and the democrats in the '90s. Risky loans to risky people backed by the government. Otherwise even you said it before about big business. If they were so greedy why wouldn't they cover their asses on loans. Unless the government said they would back them. Big business is only bad when government interferes.

@SheBQueen4eva Other than that competition gets in the way. Plus there is no way of them to harm us. If A big business is trying to get us to buy something they do what they can to pursuade us. Whether it is lowering the price or giving a product we want at a fair price. Now when the government gets involved and says we have to have something. Like Health insurance or get fined. Do you believe that these people that aren't paying now are going to pay. NNNOOOO.

Now what do we have an increase in taxes (so the gov. can cover it) and less choices. Which mean less FREEDOMS. I am sorry but I'll take my own ins. the worry about the person paying. The government doesn't care about my health as much. The republicans don't want to... like you said only help the rich. It is about individual freedoms. That is it. And that is only it.

@SheBQueen4eva Breitbart confronted some angry people outside a show 1 time and asked these people to tell him what they actually did wrong. And they couldn't tell them. These people got discouraged and got on their bus and went away. Now who sent (or paid) these people to go down there. They start controversy and don't know why. I believe Both sides will plant people in to make the other look bad also. It is becoming to much government. Less gov. =More freedom

WE THE PEOPLE starts out in such big letters compare to the rest of it. Read the constitution and you will realize why we as a country have done so well. @0ly1 Okay Gotta to admirer your passion but I have to admit I don't think the constitution was written for all Americans just the few & as U can see only the few has truly prospered.U talk about those who left England & from what I understand according to history most were considered the prisoners, rebels & the lower people of society. I'm sure not all were, but most were the underbelly of that society. Look how they treated the Indians, they befriended them & then betrayed that friendship.

@Oly1 I asked what will it yield and maybe it'll give me more knowledge that I can believe or choose not to believe, but I can't do anything about it either way. Maybe I look at the world as a glass half full because it's almost empty. I do believe in God's word; a big part of me believe we are in the last days, but though I am a christian at times I even question that. Does that make me a sinner to question God? Maybe, or does it make me a human who want answers for this world gone wrong.

@0ly1 It would be small of me to say that all republicans are racists....I don't believe that they are, but this fringe that has been created called the tea party hasn't been shy about their hate for our black president. They've been out right blatant by showing pictures of him in jungle cloths with warrior head dress & more. I didn't realize until 2 years ago that my vote really didn't matter,I was a shocked! The electoral college decides who will be the President. They elected a man that they have lost faith in, but he was there choice. So when Palin wins in 2012 it will be because they elected her, not us! Garofalo also out spoken & confirms what Rory & so many others feel, & these are white people speaking. Garofalo mentioned something that was very thoughtful. She mention "Dead Reckoning" to describe the right wing, tea party group and it fits, please look up the description!

Move your business to another country or pay union scale? Why do you think Wal mart sells their stuff at such a good price. All that regulations do is jack up the price.

And no tax increases slow the economy. Give business money and they will hire more, buy more and open new businesses to hire more.

How and why did Fannie and Freddie start giving out all the home loans to people that didn't qualify or were risky. Find out who tried regulating what these companies were doing? Why did smaller banks sell the loans to these 2 companies.

If big business was so evil why would they like the free market? Wouldn't getting rid of it eliminate the competition.
