  • HOW OLD WAS SHE HERE?!

  • @happyfrogish she was 15

  • so cuuuute she was at that time! and she still has the skillz that killz!

  • Can't believe this was 21 years ago and she's still active... What an inspiration.

  • She looks likes Mary Lou Retton in the second vault! :P

  • @22zoheb and thats the same vault mary lou did to!!! LOL a full twisting tsukahara

  • I bet she will be competing in 2012!!

  • la MEJOR

  • Those vaults are incredible.

  • Chusovitina rocked vault. This is the first time I saw her compete-now look where she is today-still rocking vault!!

  • Chusovitina looks cute in this video

  • She was so young !!! :p

I'm very glad for the medal she got in Beijing last summer : she really deserved it ! ^^

  • wow, she was sooo adorable here :D

  • same hairdo still.

  • she just got a silver medal at the olympics

  • just as good as before with the same hairdo.

  • aww, she was so cute back then!! and a great vaulter just like she is now. i wish her the BEST in Beijing!!

  • i like chusovitina but,

    will she go 4 2008

  • Yes! she will likely make vault finals because she is the best vaulter in Europe! The Asians (PRK,CHN) are very strong so it will be hard ofr her to get a medal.

  • sorry PRK whatdoes that stand for?

  • Peoples Republic of Korea, also known as North Korea. Hong Su Jong got injured in an attempt to debut a triple twisting Yurchenko. Only her sister will be in vault finals and it is rumored she will show the Tritple Twisting Yurchenko, which is a vault no man has performed.

  • a triple twisting Yurchenko - no male has nerwer dont this too? Wow

  • smiFromBelarus is incorrect; there are a couple of men who have done the triple-twisting Yurchenko, including Sasha Artemev.

  • Acutally PRK is short abbreviation for DPRK which should be Democratic People's Repulic of Korea.

  • smiF.B. thnx for your answer. Yurchenko did she not make a one armed/hand handstand at the beam once? If I remember she did not look happy.

  • Actually, Chusovitina won her only world title on vault in 2003 in Anaheim, CA, USA. She placed 2nd in 1991, and has also won medals at the 92, 93, 01, 02, 05, and 06 World Championships! Did you see how she lays out the piked Cuervo? It could rightly be called a layout! Awesome!!

  • She was the vault world champion in 1991 and 2001. There's definitely something to be said for a woman with a child to still be at the top of her game ten years later!

  • Wow! She looks so young then! She is amazing, I love Chusovitina. She is still going strong today.
