@MajieMcFly This beat got destroyed a couple weeks ago. The external hard drive I had it saved on up and stopped working on me. All the beats I had saved on it I ended up losing, including this one. I'll have to remake all of this stuff all over again. I bet this is what every beat maker and producer goes through from time to time. My bad for the long response.
@itstheshaolinstyle Thanks man. To be honest I'm kinda tired of this beat lol. I listened to it a million times when I first made it and loved it. Now I'm just sick of it.
breakfast of champions right here, yum hahah. how sensitive are the pads on a 2500? are they as good as the 2000XL or are they shitty like the 500? (ive only used these two and the 500 pads are plastic pieces of shit!)
@DoctorSess Appreciate the compliment - thanks! But to answer your question, at the time the MPC 2500 came out it was around $1,000+ dollars (or maybe more). So you already know there ain't gonna be any cheap materials on that thing. The pads are pretty rubbery, not plastic. And if you turn off the Full Level button and tap the pads, they'll respond to however soft or hard you tap them accurately. The 2500 is a pretty dope machine. Even Alchemist and 9th Wonder started using the MPC 2500.
@xmpc9000XL Went from using the MPC 1000 to the 2500 just two days ago and I'm already lovin' the stock pads on it...Definitely agree with what you said above. Dope track, bruh...sorry u lost it.; Same thing happened to me re: almost a whole project worth of tracks. ...good thing I started back them up to CD.
@GREGAROSOVICH Yeah I never liked this camera quality either. Trying to save up for one of them SLR cameras. Those things are supposed to shoot better quality footage and audio. Expensive as hell though. Thanks for liking the beat, peace.
@flicaxmontana1 Can't give away all the secrets! Every [producer + beat maker + DJ] gotta discover these samples themselves by digging. It's apart of the fun of being a beat maker.
