They aren't sitting far apart, he's playing guitar, he kinda needs room, and their expression of sorrow is probably just good stage presence, they are just helping the point of the song. Please stop asking for "one last song" by them. This is their last song... Listen to the lyrics, look at how far apart they are from sitting next to each other, look how hurt and torn they look... It was obvious the relationship didn't end in the best way and they both ended up hurt from it. This song was probably the remainder of tears and relation between them.
