I've been playing for about 2 and I can sweep, fret tap, and alternate pick across strings pretty decently but I can't seem to make up and of my own sophisticated riffs. They all sound generic to me. @Qweets cheers pal, I had about 4 years teaching not consecutively. Started playing in 2001. I did A-Level music for 2 years and my degree course requires me to understand and notate music and stuff but I don't write any of my music down i just write and record at the same time.
