headshrinker live by the sea dvd is probably his best vocal performance actually. that or some early version of slide away. if only they had ever performed i hope i think i know live, one of my very fav oasis songs. Shame they never sang it live :(. but i don't think liams voice could've handled it even in 97, if only noel had written it earlier.

I hear ya but In the early days it seems as if Liam was the only member of the band who had any real star quality. In terms of his stage presence and persona, cool clothes and monster vocals. Despite the fact that Noel wrote all the songs. Theres probably thousands of songwriters who could be big but never get enough recognition as a band. Liam personified everything that the ultimate rockstar should be. Certainetly from 93-97 Liam seemed to be the best thing about the band.

I was at this gig and I can still feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up as this was the first and only time I saw them play Listen Up live. They chucked the American tour a few days later so we were lucky to see them. Long journey from Glasgow to see them but a lifetime memory. Liam's voice today is no match for the early years.
