This is so fucking awesome!!!! I just found this! These guys are grandfathers now - literally, and they look like it, and yet they're jamming the best heavy metal you can imagine. If I believed in a god, it would be Tony Iommi.

mmmmm not feeling it. Seriously, Iommi should just have stopped playing after Black Sabbath. Those days are gone. Same with Ozzy. Ozzy looks like he's dying on stage, no breath control whatsoever. Iommi can only play one or two tempos. The singer looks like Captain Kirk. Not feeling it!
i love how rock guitarist from the 70's era only used the root note and fifth note in their chord, i used the same kind of technique and it really gives a lot of advantage in playing riffs and droped D tone :D
this is timeless...classic black sabbath feel with the touch of deep purple, iron maiden drums and metallica bass...if this riff is awsome i can't wait to see the new sabbath album...
jason newsted tiene q regresar a metallica no es lo mismo con robert trujillo sin desmerecerlo tecnicamente como bajista pero no es para metallica no ay coros no ay feeling..
Not as heavy, crunching, brutal or loud as OLD sabbath. Sounds a lot like Iommi's solo albums with Glenn Hughes. Very melodic with some lighter power chord riffs.
Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Metallica, HIM. Best supergroup ever. Okay maybe HIM isn't up there with the rest of them, but they're still a great band and he's an awesome guitar player.
@Napier931 more commercial bands please? I mean lol not because they're well known that they good u know. They're known because they make easy and accessible music(sorry for those who thought they make anything great),,,
They should have brought the organ more upfront, i can't hear Jon's part very well, besides from that, good hardrock / heavy metal song, nothing more than that, good enough to bang your head on, so it's good enough for me !!!! ;) .
This is what Iommi has been sounding like since 1996 (his solo albums with Glenn Hughes and various artists). Still light years better than Black Sabbath circa 1989-1994 (with exception to Dehumanizer with Ronnie James Dio).
@Danimal300zx I admit, the song has grown a bit on me, since I wrote that comment. But I still think that this is pretty stale compared to song from The Devil You Know, and song like Ear in the Wall. But like I said, you have to consider the people playing on this song. This is not only the epicness of Iommi.
@mooninites3 First of all. Lulu album is not Metallicas album. Load and ReLoad terrible albums? Theres good songs like Bleeding Me, Mama said,Until it sleeps, Unfo etc. You should watch document Some kind of monster.
True Gillan cant hit the falsetto screams of Born Again anymore but I saw him sing 'Keep It Warm' a few years ago in Anaheim and he absolutely killed that song. Gillan was in his mid to late 30's when Born Again was recorded BTW, he was in his twenties when the first MKII Deep Purple albums came out.
